When Landy calls Nevins in Naples after Bourne has escaped, she says "I want you to secure that area." But when Bourne plays back the conversation on his tape recorder, Landy is saying "I want that area secured."
In the Moscow car chase, Bourne's car is hit from the driver's side by a police car. The driver's side window breaks. In the next few shots, no broken glass is seen on Bourne. In the very next shot, the car is not damaged on the driver's side.
When Bourne drops the cell phone beside Nevins (after knocking him out and cloning his GSM SIM) it is left facing down. When Nevins regains consciousness, the phone is right side up.
When Jason is on the rooftop observing Pamela and staff through his rifle scope, Jason's view of the personnel inside is clear and totally unobstructed. However, camera shots inside the building show sheer white curtains across all the windows.
During the fight in the German apartment with Jason's former colleague, Jason clearly has a cut and swollen lip. In the restroom where he washes blood off his hands and looks in the mirror, his face shows no sign of the wounds from the fight.
The water heater that Jason supposedly disconnects the gas line, is actually an electric water heater (no chimney). Jason disconnects the hot water line. Also, a pipe fitting can't be loosened without a wrench.
Disconnecting a cooking gas line and attempting to ignite it with a magazine in a toaster does not produce an explosion that blows people off their feet. The gas and air must be precisely mixed; if there's too much air or too much gas, there would be just a small "poof" and not an explosion. That, of course, presumes the magazine lights up in less than five minutes.
When the militia who stop Kirill check his ID it can be seen that the militia holding Kirills ID maintains his finger on the trigger at all-time. A police officer trained to handle a firearm would be trained to holster it whenever combat was over straight away and have his finger off the trigger when not firing the gun.
There are linguistic errors when Nevins is communicating with the guard in Italian. His accentuation of the pronoun "qualcosa" is incorrect. Additionally, the past participle, "ditto" is mispronounced as "dit," the French equivalent of the same Italian participle.
The banners carried by the protesters contain several spelling errors, including "Meer" (ocean) instead of "Mehr" (more). This is inspired from a real incident where the Germans protested against education budget cuts by putting spelling errors into their banner texts.
When Bourne discovers and writes down Landy's phone number it has the area code 757. "Langley" (CIA Headquarters) is in Mclean, Virginia whose area code is 703. Area code 757 is in southeast Virginia, home to Langley Air Force Base.
After Jason steals the car with the tool that he pushes in the
ignition he gets out of the vehicle. When he returns to the car he starts the vehicle. The distinct sound of keys rattling can be heard. So obviously he mysteriously got keys to the vehicle he had stolen. This is because an alternative scene was shot where he approaches the owner of the car and buys it on the spot.
The CIA team are convinced Bourne is a threat to them, yet after they realize he has been watching them through the window, well within sniper range, they still do not close the blinds.
They just know he saw them, not that he is within rifle-shot or even that he has a rifle. Since nobody is shot yet, they might reason that if he wanted somebody shot, they'd be shot already.
In India, Bourne buys a bottle of water from a street vendor. The bottle is Himalayan Natural Mineral Water, stocked only by upper-class areas of India such as 5-star hotels, embassies and expensive restaurants, not by small street vendors.
It's possible in India that they have street vendors who might sell counterfeit branded water.
When the camera shows Alexanderplatz square in Berlin from a bird's perspective, a yellow tram enters from the left in the wrong direction with its back first and the electric pantograph on the rear end. Either they had a rehearsal with the tram going back and forth, or the cutter placed this shot running backward. Protesters are also digitally run over by the tram.
When Bourne searches for information on Vladimir Neski at the Internet cafe, he searches for keywords "Politician Neski Russia" and hits search. However, the search results immediately display as "Results 1-10 of about 2,910 for Murder, Berlin, Hotel" and not the keywords he entered.
When Bourne is in the Hotel Brecker in Berlin, walking around the hallways and in some rooms, daylight is visible in some shots from the background windows behind the curtains. However, the scene was supposedly taking place at night.
There is no blood visible on the blade of Abbott's knife following his stabbing of Danny Zorn.
During the fight between Bourne and Jarda a member of the film crew is heard to briefly cough.
During the car chase in Goa, the tires squeal as they turn corners. This would not be the case on the dirt roads they're driving on.
At the beginning of Russian militia sequence in front of the airport, a radio transmission in Russian is heard. Translation: "This is number 17, I am sorry I could not get there, I got stuck in a traffic jam." Ten minutes later during the cab chase, the exact same message is aired again, unrelated to the chase.
When Kirill is pursuing Bourne and Marie, he can be seen running towards a road and the sound of heavy braking is heard as he approaches the road (presumably intended to be from the red car that passes him). However, it can be seen that this sound has not
come from this vehicle as it clearly isn't seen to be braking heavily when Kirill approaches the road.
(approximately at 1:30:15). When one of the Russian police cars (Mercedes Benz) crashes and gets spun around, the driver of the car clearly has a full racing helmet on.
During the fight in the German apartment with Jason's former colleague, a cameraman is reflected in the apartment window on the right-hand side of the screen.
Right at the end of this shot of Bourne running on the sand his left arm moves out the way to reveal a piece of filming equipment left on the sand.
After Bourne leaves Turin towards Berlin, he wakes from a dream, turns off the car and gets out. As you watch Bourne over the roof of the car, a reflection of a camera lens can clearly be seen to the left of Bourne's head.
The Berlin police car's sirens sound isn't the common one used in Germany.
When Bourne tells Nicky to enter the tram it is directed towards "Alexanderplatz". The luminous display inside the tram however reveals "S+U Lichtenberg/DB" as destination - a completely different quarter of Berlin that is not connected to Alexanderplatz via tram.
Some of the Moscow scenes have obviously been shot in Berlin. There are German road signs and advertisements in the background.
After Bourne leaves the Hotel Brecker, he enters the station "Zoologischer Garten", which is actually next to the supposed address of the hotel. After passing through the hall he leaves the building, and a bridge over a river is seen. "Zoologischer Garten" isn't near a river - the rest of the scene is shot at station "Friedrichstrasse", 4 train stops away.
The bank statement in the amount of $760,000 can be seen, where it is depicted like this: "+ 760.000,00", which is the number format that is used in Germany. Since the bank is located in Zurich, Switzerland the format they would have used is "+ 760'000.00".
After the car chase in Moscow ends with an accident he just walks away like nothing happened without having a vehicle and Russian cops just stop chasing him all of a sudden. He couldn't just walk away like that while there were still many cars following him and they wouldn't just let him walk away either.
After Jason jumps onto the boat from the bridge, he grabs his left leg and walks away limping on the left leg. But throughout the remainder of the movie, he limps on his right leg.
An agent scans the planted fingerprint using an HP iPaq PDA. Ironically, although this model does have a biometric fingerprint scanner, he doesn't use it - instead, he lays the fingerprint across the touch screen.
Bourne should know it's not safe to drink Goa tap water when he's taking a painkiller for his headache. But he drinks bottled water in a later scene.
