Ancient Wu was based on Lo Pan from Big Trouble in Little China (1986). Both characters were played by James Hong.
In order to play Snoop Dogg as a police undercover, there will be 30 dog bones all over California. Once you collected 1, then the rest of the dog bones will appear on the city map. After collecting the 30 dog bones, you will have to go to a parking garage to save your game to unlock Snoop. Then, you should see his head on the icon of your saved game.
Snoop Dogg is an unlockable character.
There are numerous references to Grand Theft Auto hidden throughout the city (for example, a billboard featuring a take off on the GTA pink bikini picture).
Advertisements for the fictitious company "Jockstrap" can be found on billboards all throughout the game, escpecially in the Hollywood area. The "Jockstrap" logo and name parody that of game designers Rockstar, who are most famous for the "Grand Theft Auto" series - from which "True Crime" draws much of its inspiration...(see also Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004))
