In 1973, Nassau County District Attorney William Cahn forced the producer Leonard Kirtman to remove the footage of himself used in the film. The footage had been shot by Creative Arts Guild on contract by Kirt Films and Cahn was lead to believe it was being used in a television documentary about pornography. He later heard from people he knew that had seen Pornography in New York theatrically that the footage had been used in the adult film instead.
