The much awaited film Noukadaubi by multiple national award winning director and master craftsman of our time, Rituparno Ghosh is slated to have a momentous release date.

Film maker Subhash Ghai, as a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore 150th anniversary will be releasing the multi-lingual film on May 06, since the film is based on his work. After giving beautiful gems like Iqbal and Joggers' Park, Ghai with his Mukta Searchlight Films, wants to take good Bengali cinema on a global scale.

The magic and imagery of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore's words will once again cast a spell over the audience when his Noukadaubi, a tale of four cross-wired lovers, gets a mainstream makeover in director Rituparno Ghosh's film by the same name. The film will be released both in Bengali and Hindi.

Noukadubi will gain much attention for its content that was considered rather broadminded and progressive during Tagore's time.
