The CD album that 'Tim Roth''s character picks up at the record store is "Summer Of Love" by Love Seed Mama Jump- one of the band's members is the movie director's cousins.
The film was initially supposed to be presented in official competition at the 2003 Cognac Festival du Film Policier, however the film could not be screened to the various juries, because the copy of the film got lost by the transport company chosen to deliver it to France. The film ultimately screened as a premiere event at the 2004 Cognac Festival.
