It is a movie about 3 30-something women who are more attached to each other then to the men they live with. All three relationships end and they all need to find a way to deal with that.

The women in this movie really beat their guys up. It is appalling to see how people seem to be OK with the women beating the guys up and then be condemning when one of those guys loses it.

It does have a sort of bitter humor in it. The audience I was watching it with cracked up when Isa once again bursts into tears.

I like how nudity isn't a big issue in this movie. In American movies people would be appalled by someone taking their clothes off just so she could put them in the washing machine. Not that the tits are everywhere in this movie, it's just part of life.

Passing by the cinema I noticed this unfamiliar title, and as it is my favourite dessert I could not resist and watched the movie.

And that was a pleasant surprise! Beautiful dialogues, nice shootings, never knew that dutch cinema could be so entertaining! Go and see it!!
