De pura sangre

I saw this novela when I was a teenager. I normally hate novelas but this one is indeed well written and interesting. I enjoyed every episode and the main characters have wonderful chemistry. It has everything, romance, suspense, action; nobody is blind, in a wheelchair or crazy like in most Mexican novelas. I love the police investigation part of the story. Love love love this one. Nevertheless Christian Bach and Humberto Surita always did good novelas. They were married in real life and there acting was amazing. I'm only sorry I haven't been able to find a dvd copy. I would love to see it again.

"De Pura Sangre" is one of the best original screenplays from Televisa. Very well written, elaborate plot and rich dialogue. Unlike many of the newer telenovelas, this one has a credible plot and each character is developed deeply. Top actors include, Humberto Zurita, Christian Bach,and Manuel Ojeda. The scenery is also beautiful as it was filmed in San Miguel de Allende at an Hacienda that has many horses of pure breed. It is really unfortunate that newer telenovelas are no longer this quality.

If you want to go back to 1985 and feel nostalgia for the times, this is it.
