I saw it as a sort of introduction for young kids to the novel by Carlo Collodi. And, except some gratuit violence , I appreciated it , including for the two birds, for the lessons for not very wise Pinocchio , for the conflict against fox and cat and for musical intro.

Sure, nostalgia is source of indulgent perspective about an animation series not radical different by many others of period, adaptation, free , in significant measure, of classic children book and pleasant for fair final, not surprising but expected with the hope only children animating in full manner.

After decades, nice memories and smile about drawings ( especially ).
