Prostitution, pornography and murder are all in a day's work for the Metropolitan police vice squad as they investigate the capital's darker secrets. A murdered prostitute and a turf war between two pimps is the case facing Inspector Pat Chappel and his team.

Cheryl's capability is called into question when she blows an undercover operation and Chappel subsequently refers her to Christina to talk out her problems. Meanwhile, when's videotape of a high-profile MP having sex with two rent boys is stolen, a blackmail scam ensues in order to ensure the safe return of the tape. As the film making continues, Chappel becomes obsessed with saving the two boys from the clutches of what he perceives to be an S&M filmmaker and a paedophile and attempts to use their information to bring down other suspected paedophiles working in the area. Chappel and Christina struggle to keep their relationship professional.

Cheryl makes slow progress finding Brendan but she believes his parents are hiding information about his past.

Rookie Vice squad officer Dougie and his colleague Cheryl prepare to go undercover at an escort agency to expose a suspected drug ring.

Dougie's foolishness jeopardizes the investigation into the escort agency and puts fellow officer Cheryl at risk. Chappel tracks the leak.
