This is the best Greek movie ever in scenario, direction and acting quality.

The scenario is one of the smartest ones! The performances of the actors are to be presented as examples in the actors schools. One of the best comedies ever made! Three poor friends are looking desperately for money. They are planning to steal the jewels of the crafty owner of a café and one of them is dressed policeman. The problems (or, the adventures) begin when the fake policeman has to solve a mystery with a "stolen" ring. Finally, the last scene when the two of the three friends are met in the police station (the "policeman" and the "wannabe thief") is considered as one of the funniest ones. The director (Alekos Sakelarios) has offered many movies of this type to the Greek cinema! It is worth seeing it!

This is one of the best movies of Kostas Hatzihristos (Greek actor)... and probably one of the top-10 of ALL times of the good old Greek cinema!

Everybody (actors) are playing fantastic, the casting is great (for each character), but the most amazing are these characters (and the plot) - especially these two poor fellas (Kostas Hatzihristos & Thanasis Veggos)!

The scenario is something simple, not too complicated story, but the interesting (and funny) is how this story "opens" and "runs" - very clever and funny.

These two characters (roles) are SUPER amazing, fantastic "build-up" from the story, and really really SUPER FUNNY moments!

VERY recommended!

And the actors give their best performances in this classic plan who goes wrong and shows us the simplicity of this particular era.See it again and again because comedies like these are unrepeatable.

What could happen to a well laid-out plan? Well, this movie shows that even masterminds can get it wrong.

Three friends think of a plan to get rich really quickly and without too much hassle. They will just rob a house that belongs to one of the richest families in Athens. And they leave nothing to chance. They even have the bright idea of one them dressing up as a policeman in order to be on the watch-out for any passers-by that may ruin their plan.

But, a couple of streets away there is another case of robbery and the tenants of the house are on the look-out for a policeman. And they can't believe their luck when they find the policeman they were after in the face of Ilias Xatzixristos, who is just minding his own business!!! The movie is a classic, the cast are just hilarious and the dialogues are just timeless.
