The experience is more than real.

Not only John Crichton is lost in the distant part ot the Universe. Watching the movie you feel like you ware there, together. Everything, the living ship, the aliens are made to look so different, even beyond the imagination, but somehow they are also realistic and lovely. I have been grown up with StarWars and Blake's -7. I used to think I will never enjoy another sci-fi move so much again, but I was wrong. Farscape is much better than all I have seen before. If you decide to watch it, please, start from the beginning!

You will never find the "way home" if you miss the first wormhole...

James Gunn was asked on Twitter in 2016 if he had ever seen Farscape - Verschollen im All (1999), as it had some similarities in terms of character. He replied that of all television shows, Farscape was the one that influenced Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) the most.

Although practically during the entire show John says he does not know where he is, a simple 'investigation' could have revealed at least he was still in the Milky Way galaxy. From the Milky Way galaxy the Andromeda Galaxy, but also both Magellanic Clouds can still be seen from anywhere.

Crazy Credits
The series finale, "Bad Timing", is the only episode without music during the ending credits. The only thing that can be heard as the credits roll, is the sound of Moya flying by, marking the passing of the show.

Alternative Versionen
The Sci-Fi Channel has aired two versions of the episode "Dream a Little Dream". Originally, the episode was entitled "RE: Union" and was meant to be the season two opener. However, the broadcast was delayed and the episode was edited down to include bookend segments that told the episode in flashback. During a break in season three, the Sci-Fi Channel aired the original version of RE: Union as a special gift to the fans.
