Izzat Ki Roti is an action drama film produced and directed by Late K. Pappu. The film stars Sunny Deol, Late Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Farha, Anupam Kher, Tanuja and Prem Chopra.
A rift is created between two brothers by a jealous man who wanted to take over their business as revenge as he was sent to jail by their father.
A typical late 80s or early 90s masala film with some cliched dialogues, predictable screenplay, cheesy screenplay and forgettable songs. The film which was cashed on pair of Sunny Deol and Rishi Kapoor who had shared the screen in the critically and commercially acclaimed 'Damini' as the film was stuck for a long time.
The acting is average to decent as their was nothing substantial to do for the actors but still Sunny Deol and Anupam Kher leaves an impact. Rishi Kapoor surprisingly disappoints. Juhi Chawla and Farha has nothing more to do but still Juhi Chawla were little more impressive among the two.
The screenplay of the film was predictable and so as the climax of the film. The film might not be a very bad film but is surely a forgettable one. Watch only if you can digest any cheesy film.

K. Pappu's 'Izzat Ki Roti' (aka 'Bread of Honour') is just another typical Bollywood masala (spice) flick from the early 90s. It's got all the ingredients for such cheesy movies. It's no classic (duh!) but corny entertainment. Now I had the remote control to fast-forward the more ridiculous sequences like the long dishum-dishum fight scenes. Now I probably wouldn't have considered watching this if it weren't for the supercute Juhi Chawla. She's very much cast as the typical heroine but her natural charisma, beauty and flair for comedy easily make her stand out. Meanwhile Farha fails to do much with a non-challenging thankless role. Rishi Kapoor is plain boring while Sunny Deol does surprisingly well in some of the comedic sequences (especially when he dresses in drag). With the exception of "Keh De Khul Ke Keh De Duniyawalon Se", the songs are fairly forgettable but Rishi Kapoor's atrocious dancing always provides some unintentional comic relief while Juhi Chawla gets to display some of her dancing skills with energy and grace. 'Izzat Ki Roti' is as forgettable as they come but it's certainly not the worst of its kind.
