Feeder have announced a new double album Black / Red for release on 5th April 2024 on Big Teeth Music via Townsend Music / Absolute Label Services. Black / Red completes a trilogy of albums joined to 2022’s UK Top 5 album Torpedo. New double A-side single ‘Playing With Fire’ / ‘Elf’ / is out now.

‘Elf’, which lead singer and guitarist Grant Nicholas describes as “a call to arms”, and ‘Playing With Fire’s “roller coaster ride of self-discovery”, reaffirm the band’s knack for sticky melodies and livewire riffs. Songs across Black / Red carry with them the same sense of wide-open space, freedom and possibility, aligned with an optimistic energy that first lit the fuse for Torpedo. Cohesive and connected rather than a concept, Black / Red is a continuation of Torpedo’s conversation but at the same time a full stop on a prolific songwriting period that encapsulates a very specific moment in time for the band.

Sam’s Esmail ABC drama pilot “Acts of Crime” has found its lead.

Newcomer Candace Grace has been cast in the lead role in the pilot, with Josiah Cross, Peter Mark Kendall, and Molly Price also joining in series regular roles.

Little is known about the plot of the show, other than being described as a unique spin on the crime procedural. Grace will star as Vivien Lamonte, a Black police detective working homicide in suburban New Jersey. Her early years were spent on the wrong side of the law, but she turned it around to join law enforcement.

“Acts of Crime” will mark Grace’s first major onscreen role. The New Orleans native graduated from Rutgers University with a Mfa acting degree in 2020. She is repped by ICM, ATA Management, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

Girl on the Third Floor is set to have a wide release, this October. Already having shown at SXSW earlier this year, this title will show on Digital near All Hallow's Eve. The film centrally stars former WWE wrestler C.M. Punk as Don, a man simply trying to repair a family home. However, old memories or simply ghosts reside in the manor, reminding him of his past transgressions. Developed by director Travis Stevens with writers: Paul Johnstone and Ben Parker, a new trailer is available for the film here. Since the film's World Premiere, the film has received a few, early reviews. Most have been mildly positive.
