A cop robs a store to go undercover in a gang. In prison he meets a member and escapes. Now inside, he identifies the boss and thieves, but not the informant. As a big heist nears, the cop is distracted by the boss's girlfriend.

When police inspector Gerald Blake wants to infiltrate a London stolen-goods gang, he does a thorough job of it. First, he robs a jewelry store, gets caught and is sentenced to prison. Then he teams up with gang-member Joey to make their escape. Once in the gang, Blake identifies the boss, Larry, and most of the other thieves, but not the "inside man." As a big fur job looms closer, the detective's task is complicated by the playful but seductive advances of Judy, a dazzling blonde who happens also to be the jealous Larry's girl friend.—Mike Rogers <MICHAELPEM@aol.com>

A Scotland Yard detective commits a crime and is sent to prison to get into a gang that he has been unable to catch while on the outside. He along with a member of the gang escape while being transported on a train and then is introduced to the leader of the gang as a good guy. Initially, the boss is concerned as he does not know this new man and so is one of his gang members. He then decides to let him in though and provides a place him to stay and even give this new guy some of his own clothes so that he has a wardrobe to wear. He then works some jobs with them while trying to determine who the inside guy is that works for the gang. During this, all the girlfriend of the very jealous gang leader is coming on to the detective now working with the gang. The detective has to find secret ways to get messages back to his office and to meet up with his wife while in the gang. A sergeant with Scotland Yard provides his wife with updates on her husband several times during the movie and a nosy neighbor is always coming over as she believes her neighbor must be having an affair as she notices the husband has been away for some time. Finally, as they are ready to work a big fur robbery another member of the gang figures out through a number of clues that this new member is really a copper. In the end, the guys are all caught, one of them accidentally shot by the gang leader. The detective tells the member who originally escaped with him to give him a call when he gets out of prison at the end of the movie.
