The streamer also plans to add the popular animated action-comedy, “Archer, which follows super spy Sterling Archer and the global missions of his dysfunctional team of secret agents. The September lineup will also feature TV series like “Sabrina The Teenage Witch,” Season 5 and 6 of “Community,” “The Steve Harvey Show” and more.

“Rel Talk” – Lil Rel Howery brings signature humor to Chicago’s What’s Funny Comedy Festival in a personal, hilarious, high-energy stand-up performance.

Jennifer Lopez, the trailblazing and internationally renowned actress, singer, dancer, producer and businesswoman, will receive the Virtuoso Award at the Scad Savannah Film Festival, the largest university-run film festival in the world, in recognition of her Oscar-buzzed portrayal of — appropriately enough — a great movie star in Bill Condon’s musical Kiss of the Spider Woman.

The honor will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 1, immediately after an hourlong recording of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, which will be moderated by yours truly in front of a festival audience, and during which Lopez will discuss her life and career.

“It’s an extraordinary honor to welcome Jennifer Lopez to Savannah,” Christina Routhier, the fest’s senior execuive director, said in a statement. “Her performance in Kiss of the Spider Woman is a revelation, and having an artist of her global stature join us is a landmark moment for our festival and our community.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Bill Condon is back with “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” his latest movie musical starring a global music superstar playing the subject of public adoration.

An adaptation of the Tony-winning 1993 Kander and Ebb Broadway musical, which itself is an adaptation of the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig, stars Diego Luna as political prisoner Valentín, who is thrown into a cell with window dresser Molina (newcomer Tonatiuh.) To pass time, the latter recounts the story of his favorite Hollywood musical starring screen siren Ingrid Luna therefore juxtaposing the pair’s dreary reality inside a 1970s Argentinian prison with the Technicolor fantasy of Luna’s melodrama “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has revealed its nominees for the 2025 annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be held on Oct. 17 in Pasadena, California.

As Gold Derby previously reported, buzzy new soap opera Beyond the Gates was not eligible this year but will contend at the 2026 kudos.

The six-person lineup for Best Drama Actress includes four from The Young and the Restless — Sharon Case, Eileen Davidson, Melissa Claire Egan, and Michelle Stafford — plus Nancy Lee Grahn and Laura Wright from General Hospital.
