Niclole is seen in her nightgown, standing in front of the mirror and brushing her teeth. A few seconds later, she is shown slipping the same nightgown over her head as she gets ready for bed.

After the "killer" is arrested and Tina and Nicole are talking. Tina puts on a flannel shirt and starts to roll her right sleeve up. Her left collar is folded under itself, the shot turns to Nicole, then back to Tina and the collar is fixed.

As Nicole descends the stairs of the courthouse after Greg's sentencing, she has her own mother on her right arm and Tina holding her left. When the trio emerges moments later from the courthouse door, the two older women have mysteriously swapped sides, so that Tina is now on Nicole's right.

During Greg's trial, he is sentenced for First-Degree Murder with a life sentence. There is no mention made of the unborn fetus he killed when killing Emily DiCapprio. The Supreme Court ruled that killing an unborn fetus is tantamount to Second-Degree Murder in 2004; this movie was filmed in 1997.

When Greg and Nicole are at their final dance after graduation, the singer on stage is shown in a shot singing into the mike, and as the camera pans away, the singer moves the mike down to her waist, but she can still be heard singing.

After Greg and Nicole argue in front of her home, she gets out of the car and slams the door. As she looks in at Greg, you hear the car start up, but Greg doesn't move towards the ignition, or the transmission shifter. He then peals out.

When Greg drops Nicole off at her home after their last school dance, they argue. During the argument, Greg tells Nicole, "I want you to stop talking to Tina Capprio". The character he is referencing is named Tina DiCapprio.
