Captain, a brave dog and police captain of the forest, must outwit his archenemy, Zero the Cat, a master of disguise and fraud, who plans to make a bundle, even if it means leaving all the forest critters homeless.

This entertaining film highlights the importance of integrity, justice, and appreciation for the environment. The compassionate and wise Captain is the hero, who is trying to stop long-time troublemaker and master of disguise Zero the Cat as he plans his biggest coup ever. Helping the Captain along the way are the bright Constable Eleméri Ede and seasoned secret agent Góliát. The resourceful Gólíat succeeds in locating Zero's hiding place, where he overhears part of Zero's newest plan. Although unable to get all the details, Gólíat reports to the station and it becomes clear that stopping Zero will be quite a challenge. The Captain is determined to ensure peace and the safety of the town for good. Thus the race against time begins. The clues lead to the pristine Round Forest, which is outside of their jurisdiction. The Captain goes undercover to find out just what Zero has in mind. He settles down on an island and makes friends with adorable little Dorka, the grandchild of the forest's president. The serenity of their home is in jeopardy, however, as Zero is scheming to sell the entire forest for profit. This move would not only render all residents homeless, but would also endanger the survival of the forest itself. When the Captain finds that Zero has arrived in the forest, he hurries away to get help. Thus Zero is left unattended, giving him an opportunity to move forward with his plans. Will the Captain and his trusted companions arrive back in time to save the Round Forest and its residents? This exciting animation is a delightful story for viewers of all ages. The sincere dedication and considerate approach of the Captain to accomplish his duty earns him much respect along the way. This fable is a fine example of realizing the importance of core values in life, such as friendship, honesty, and trust.
