Midnight Tease II

I watched this movie at about 3 am one night, and perhaps it was just the late hour, but I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Aside from the aesthetically pleasing aspects of the movie (I'll leave that to your imagination), I actually didn't know who the killer was right up until the end. A feat most better movies can't pull off. I recommend renting this on a lonely, late night, if you have nothing better to do. This movie also contained a brilliant cameo by a flawless look-alike of an aged Dave Jourabchi.

Well, stripper movies have a formula, and this film never strays from it. Lots and lots of siliconized boobies on display on the stage, and on the pole. A few scenes in the backstage dressing room where the girls chat with one another. And a lame plot about the main character going undercover in the club to find out who murdered her sister, who was a real dancer at the club. It is not clear at first that she is the sister. I guess you would have to have seen the first "Midnight Tease" which I have not. More than halfway through, I was impressed with the level of acting going on, given the format, but towards the end even somewhat talented actresses sank under the weight of the crummy script. All of the girls were quite beautiful especially Kimberly Kelley, Julie K. Smith, Griffin Drew, and Erin Ashley. Special kudos to the lovely Kim Kopf for having beautiful, but not gigantic or altered breasts.

Ah yes... Midnight Tease II... another T&A flick. We all know these types of films exist solely as a pretty sad excuse to see some attractive women parade around in the nude and on that level Midnight Tease II triumphs. Not much to say about the story other than it's typical for straight-to-video fare of this type... I mean where do they come up with this stuff? A woman goes undercover in a strip club to find out who murdered her stripper sister? Yeah, okay. Luckily the limp story never gets in the way of the ladies.

So if you're a fan of late night T&A flicks and you want some nice looking ladies to peek at you know the deal here already. Midnight Tease II is your meal ticket. The ladies are fine and the movie features a great strip club atmosphere. Kimberly Kelley is easy on the eyes and keep an eye out for Julie K. Smith. A former Penthouse pet who can be seen in numerous other flicks of this type and some of Sidaris babes 'n bullets flicks. The hot blonde really kicks it into high gear here.

It's 1:00AM, amped up from an evening that ended quicker than expected. Searching for an T/A flick; Midnight Tease II appeared in the queue. 15 minutes in all expectations met. Why so early? I was reminded of a poll; who have the best strip tease? Demi Moore: Striptease, Lisa Raye: Player's Club and Elizabeth Berkley: Show Girls were the nominees. A shame Kimberly Kelley was not in the running. She would be the clear winner. The movie is much better than expected and as other reviewers have noted; the ladies are beautiful. The most part, seem to capture the atmosphere of a strip club. Looking for T/A? Could do worse.

The plot's irrelevant, really. It serves the purpose - which is to provide a framework for the eye candy.

What this movie does really well is to realistically depict a strip club atmosphere. Most movies get it all wrong... Extravagant costumes, Vegas style lighting, and elaborately choreographed dance routines. The only thing questionable about the club in MT2 was the fact that every gal is drop dead gorgeous...

The lead actress does a nice job with her role (outside of the dancing), and I'm surprised she hasn't done more with her career.
