The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw hit NBC in 1991, continuing The Gambler television saga first made popular by singer-songwriter Kenny Rogers' 1980 TV film. Not only did she learn of Isabella's existence, but Bobbie also discovered that their father gave 50 percent ownership of his bar to Isabella in his will.

So, Bobbie has a lot going on. Nevertheless, the few scenes between Bobbie and Emmett imply that their dynamic could turn romantic. Emmett is Happy's Place's resident chef, who is gruff, quiet, and prefers to be left alone, but he also serves as Bobbie's confidant. McEntire's character goes to Emmett when she is frustrated and needs to let out a little steam.

“We kept in contact over the years, we both know the same people,” Reba said on Watch What Happens Live. “So it was just like good friends getting back together and having dinner … then we started texting and talking on the telephone and getting to know each other better during the quarantine.

Reba McEntire is reflecting on her relationship with boyfriend Rex Linn, admitting that they didn’t fall in love the moment that they met.

In fact, the pair have known each other since 1991, when they worked together while starring in “The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw”.

“My life right now is absolutely wonderful. I’m with the love of my life, Rex. We just have a wonderful time,” gushed McEntire, while sitting down with Et Canada’s Morgan Hoffman for a One-on-One interview at The New York Edition hotel. “My family is happy and healthy. I’m a very blessed person.”

The couple started dating in early 2020, but McEntire says it definitely “wasn’t” a love at first sight situation.
