In "Sieben Sommersprossen und andere Erinnerungen" book, Kareen Schröter revealed that someone from the film team came to her house to ask her parents if they had anything against her undressing in the movie. 'So we are not prudes. Aren't we, mom ? That's their business', the 14-year-old girl said to get permission. So she could film the uninhibited sequence in which the two young lovers frolic naked in a field. "I acted quite relaxed. I had deliberately forgotten how he draws a heart on her chest with his finger. No one has ever done that to me. Touched, yes, but not naked, and there's a big difference between dressed and undressed kissing. But that was just supposed to be a game.
