Having recently discovered Michael Findlay's twisted work through his strangely enjoyable "FLESH" trio of sleaze films, I was a little let down by this one. The director stars as a misogynist (of course) who murders his wife but then realizes he's not the only sicko in town when he's abducted by crazed lesbians who keep a grown woman in diapers and a crib sucking her thumb as "Baby". You've got to see this misfit forcibly whipped and beaten into breast feeding.

I know this all sounds like it can't miss when it comes to the genre of sick kicks, but there's a little too much padding this time around, and you can feel every moment of the paint drying in between the good stuff. * out of ****

If you ever happen to run across this video, prepare yourself for 70 minutes of insanity! The film has some of the most ridiculous dialogue you will ever hear, accompanied by unbelievably bad acting and poor camerawork. This is one of those movies that is so bad it's good! What other movie features a grown woman in a diaper who stays in a crib, has a special use for a candle, and is publicly nursed and whipped! If you have a sick sense of humor then this one's for you!

A Thousand Pleasures (1968)

Michael Findlay plays Richard, a husband who finally snaps at his nagging wife and murders her. He goes to get rid of her body with hitchhiking lesbians ask for a ride. Soon the three are living together and before long Richard learns that they are a lot crazier than he was.

A THOUSAND PLEASURES is another strange one from director Findlay who certainly enjoyed shocking his audience. His film have gained a large cult following over the years and it's very easy to see why because he can go from one extreme to the next and you never quite know when it's going to happen. This film here has all sorts of bizarre scenes ranging from sexual torture to one woman who acts like a baby and prefers to suck on her "mommy's" boob. Add in bizarre orgys, weird sex scenes and you've got a pretty wacky movie that certainly keeps you entertained.

Now, I will gladly state that the film runs a bit long and even its 70-minute running time seems too long. However, that's only one small issue with the picture because the pure craziness makes it worth watching and especially because of the interesting performance by Findlay and the supporting cast. All of the ladies are extremely good and there's no question that the director builds up a weird atmosphere and it just keeps getting stranger as the film moves along.
