Cillian Murphy, best known for his work on Oppenheimer and 28 Days Later, is headlining a new Netflix movie titled Steve. The film is an adaptation of Max Porter’s 2023 novella Shy and will release on the streaming service on October 3.

Cillian Murphy stars as the titular Steve, a headteacher at a reformatory school for troubled youths. The film takes place over one day at this institute, as Steve does his best to manage the students under his care, most notably Shy, played by Jay Lycurgo.

The iconic General Hospital star Tristan Rogers has passed away at the age of 79. Rogers played the character of Robert Scorpio on the daytime television soap opera for more than four decades.

In 1980, Rogers made his first appearance as Scorpio, and he continued to star in future General Hospital seasons, including appearances in multiple episodes in 2025 and in other recent years. Scorpio was originally supposed to be a one-episode character, but instead became a recurring role.

Rogers' manager, Meryl Soodak, shared withABC News that he passed away after a battle with lung cancer. His diagnosis was announced in July 2025, the same day his final General Hospital episode was released. Thursday teasers reveal that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) put their head together and strategize. They must feel that it’s time to develop an actual relationship with Gio (Giovanni Mazza).

Because their son has known for months that they are his biological parents, yet he hasn’t reached out to them in any way or form. Almost any interaction they have had with him has been accidental. So, what ideas do they brainstorm? More importantly, will their strategy actually work?

Speaking of Gio, he ends up having a conversation with Michael (Rory Gibson), which is an interaction we don’t see much of, especially since Gio moved out of the Quartermaine compound.

Mocking The Port Charles Pd

Soap fans know that the Port Charles Pd isn’t great at solving cases. Burton made fun of that in a behind-the-scenes video where he accepted an award as Jason.

“I’m Jason Morgan, and I want to thank the Pcpd for not convicting anyone since the day before Luke and Laura’s wedding. For allowing me to solve a majority of their crimes and for always showing up after I have handled everything. You guys are the best,” Jason said in the footage.

Britt needs the medication, and it cannot be withheld. Pascal suggests that she keep working. A rebellious Britt could play the game, as she knows that “he” wouldn’t want her to die either.

Britt Westbourne Goes On Strike

Knowing that “he” cannot let her die or all his research would go to waste, Britt would inform Pascal that she is going on strike. “He” won’t withhold her medication, because she is the only hope that “he” has.
