Love and lust at Paris

This movie reworks the famous book but keeps the fundamental themes. A woman dissatisfied with provincial life and her husband, she looks for lovers and spends enormous sums in search of luxury and art. The disaster is around the corner but the ending differs a lot from that of the book.
