Although the American-International end-title carries no music credit, the British distributor Warner-Pathé / Anglo Amalgamated gives the following information in their press book: "Music by Ron Stein, Les Baxter and Armando Trovajoli" (this is the only occasion that Ronald Stein would be referred to as "Ron"). Les Baxter's "Love Theme for Alberto and Italia" is a re-working of his "Mediterranean" track from the album "Master of the World" (1961). And the rousing march for the opening and closing titles is "Jet Attack" from Kampfgeschwader Totenkopf (1958) by Ronald Stein.
Submitted to the British Board of Film Censors by Warner-Pathé / Anglo Amalgamated and passed with an "A" certificate on 17 December 1962. Opened in London at the Coliseum, Harlesden on 21 January 1963 for one week. Although the co-distributors did not secure a general release on the major circuits, the film was widely booked in the UK with a re-issue of Insel der Verheißung (1952) chosen as the supporting feature in the majority of cinemas.
