Not The Best of Totò's Films

Totò shines as ever and the parade of great Italian actors who pass through this film are fun to see, but this is definitely not the best film that Totò was in. It just goes to show that great actors alone do not make a great film. Writing and directing are also needed. The story follows Totò's character from the 1920's to the 1950's. Life seems to go on and nothing happens.

Totò has much better films to see. No need to waste time on this one.
