39-week series with actor Henry Fonda introducing each star and story in the half-hour films. 13 in the series are based on adaptations of Somerset Maugham short stories. Among the stars are David Niven, Frank Lovejoy, Teresa Wright and others. The production group is the same as for Four Star Theatre on the CBS -TV network.
