Paul Page, 37, is accused of setting up a fake company and persuading people to invest in non-existent property developments, before going on a lavish spending spree with wife Laura. The couple - who deny the charges - are said to have splashed out on expensive cars, including a Porsche, Range Rover and Mercedes, cleared gambling debts and spent several thousand on mail order clothing.
