Archstone Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to “Saurus City,” an animated feature from Suspended Animation Studios, 405 Productions Inc. and Bonfire Entertainment.

The family-friendly adventure, blends cutting-edge 3D printing, handcrafted artistry and CGI. It also boasts an all-star voice cast including Ron Perlman (“Hellboy”), Emma Roberts (“We’re the Millers”), Dennis Quaid (“The Substance”), Tim Meadows (“Mean Girls”), Aimee Garcia (“Dexter”), and Julia Ormond (“Sabrina”). “Saurus City” is written and directed by Nate Smith (“The Light Before Christmas”).

The film follows a disgraced and battle-weary knight (Perlman) who answers a call to aid a young woman in distress (Roberts) — only to realize that the fate of the kingdom now rests in his hands. The Shrouded Knight (Quaid), bent on revenge and destruction, pursues them with his maniacal creations to conquer the kingdom.

Live from New York, it’s another addition to the cast of Peacemaker Season 2! James Gunn is hard at work managing the rebirth of the Dcu. Still, he’s taking time out of his busy schedule to announce that Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows is joining the cast of Peacemaker. Gunn posted about Meadows joining Peacemaker on Instagram. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine guest star is all smiles in the photo while wearing a tye-dye Nike hoodie. Meadows looks thrilled to join the series, and we’re excited to have someone as funny as Meadows joining the cast.

Meadows plays the A.R.G.U.S. agent Langston Fleury for Peacemaker Season 2, joining the helmeted hero’s cohorts in the fight against evil. The Mammoth Film Festival celebrates independent movies and filmmakers, with a lineup of over 20 feature-length movies and over 70 short films and episodic titles. This year's festival features such notable stars as Ron Perlman, Emma Roberts, Dennis Quaid, and Brittany Snow, who will be showcasing their work as actors and directors. While at this year's Sundance Film Festival, we were able to speak with the filmmakers behind an upcoming project we're excited about which is Nathan Smith’s animated film, Saurus City. Highlighting themes of parenthood and adoption, the movie enlists the vocal talents of an ensemble cast including Emma Roberts, Ron Perlman, Tim Miller, and Dennis Quaid, and creates an original fantasy world using a blend of techniques.
