Raul Amundaray was retired from acting for almost 10 years after he performed in theaters, movies and telenovelas during 50 years, since he has founded an acting school in Caracas; but he accepted to participate in the movie once he read the screen given to him by the executive producer Francisco Villarroel with a note sayings "an actor never vanish just give his last extraordinary performance". it was the last interpretation of the actor Raúl Amundaray, he passed away in 2020.
The film is inspired by a true semi-autobiographical story of its author Francisco Villarroel, of the experience lived with a young Paraguayan refugee in Paris, which took place in his youth. Francisco Villarroel was the Executive Producer of this movie, and also acted as the older version of the lead character Antonio.
