Epic

In the beginning of 20th century a group of Portuguse fishermen went on going to the sea by Newfoundland to catch tons of codfish which was then one of the main food species of most Portuguese people. This movie is about this telling and showing a story of one of those expeditions in an excellent realistic way with a very good performance of all the actors, Life there was very tough aboard with frequent conflicts among the fishermen and with the captain leading even to mutiny. The curious thing is that these expeditions were done in a sailing-ship. Besides this there was also the danger of sea storms since mosr of the work at sea was done in small boats called doris. One of the best movies in 2020.
