Cagan Irmak made a movie in his classic type again. Family drama, cute and sincere story, a father and son. We love these stories. But there are some mistakes that a director like Irmak musnt make it. Opening and closing sequences are awesome. Movie has sharp scene transitions, thats not bad. Also movie tells us some backplan stories in the same time. TV Endustry's bad and cruel parts, how is a family these days, diffrences of a small town and a metropol... Irmak has chosen some specific words to describe those in dialogues. "Bizi Hatirla" is a great drama for spending your weekend in a theatre.

When it comes to Cagan Irmak films i can't stop myself comparing his new movies with his masterpiece "My father and my son".
It is not a movie like "My father and my son". Besides, i can say it's quite predictable story in first 10 minutes. but worths watching for sure and a rating clear 7.

It is classical Cagan Irmak movie,Music rhythm is same however lyrics are different. Shortly father-son or grandfather grandchild history -drama.We also saw traditionall Aegean region people life and view..Maybe Cagan Irmak is best for this scenarios but we memorise same stories.Director must extend and change perspective.

The scenario is very realistic. The players are wonderful. The film reflects modern life in Istanbul. The scenes are very fantastic. I really recommend everyone to watch this film.
The relationship between a father living in a remote coastal town and his son with a superb career in Istanbul, a wild metropolitan city including the loved ones around them is told with a powerful drama which makes you both cry & laugh simultaneously. One of the best movies of Cagan Irmak in my opinion.

A short story and with very little conversations, this movie shouted to us the facts of life. So, it recounted what trauma can do to people. The benefits of the extended family, the absurdity of the TV series... it briefly explained us ...

People around the world lost their path cause of forgotten memories. Our grands always try to remember us what are we, where we came from and even where we will be going. These days are dark and will be more darker. Those Covid-19 days are meaning of something, look at your vicinity, family, friends and love. So, the film guide us to find forgotten treasure, everything is temporary except the people who you love. Thanks for reading dear watchers and thanks for the film to dear maker; Cagan Irmak.

Yes, it was a classical Çagan Irmak movie but the script was far more comprehensive and realistic than his other works. There were very fine touches in the script. Çagan Irmak does not have a movie I didn't watch, but I didn't forget that I watched a movie in any of his movies. But this success is not only related to the script. It is directly related to the success of Altan Erkekli.
