It's a pity that the Coen brothers couldn't throw some dangerous act within this quirk and humored commercial for Parisienne cigarettes; otherwise it'd be bizarre yet hilarious. The unusual concept shown is about a lousy theatre performer auditioning for a play and being observed by the director whose face of disapproval is very obvious though he's full attention is devoted to the cigarette he's smoking. The quick twist revolves on his final reaction to the awful song and dance number performed in front of him. The product is the essence, despite a very unusual way of being sold through this ad. Charming. 6/10.
