Priscilla Presley is mired in a legal battle with a company that claims it has the exclusive right to exploit her name, image and likeness.

Priscilla Presley Partners (Ppp), a firm started by Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, claimed that it helped broker a deal for the A24 movie adaptation of Presley’s memoir — as well as a settlement of an estate dispute challenging the will of her late daughter, Lisa Marie — and has sued to enforce its rights.

The company alleges breach of contract against Presley — who allegedly was months away from bankruptcy before it started managing her business affairs — for reneging on their agreement to partner with Keya Morgan, Stan Lee’s former business manager charged with multiple counts related to elder abuse against the comic book legend.

A judge on Monday scheduled an evidentiary hearing to assess whether Presley can be sued in Florida state court.

NBCUniversal has led the way in terms of holiday season programming. Beginning with record viewership of the annual Macy’s Parade and other ratings wins along the way, the company has boasted a total of 82 million viewers of its holiday programming across NBC and Peacock since Thanksgiving, according to the most current measurement available.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was the No. 1 program contributing to that total, as the event has remained the most-watched non-news and non-sports program on all of television since 2021. After debuting to 28.5 million viewers, it has since reached 40 million viewers.

NBCU’s next four most-watched holiday programs of the year are the NFL game between San Francisco and Seattle on Thanksgiving night (33 million viewers), “National Dog Show” (21 million viewers), “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” (12 million viewers) and “Christmas at the Opry” (8 million viewers).

NBC saw solid ratings on Wednesday night with the airing of two Christmas specials

Airing from 8-10 p.m. on Nov. 29, the annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special reached an audience of 7 million people when accounting for three days of delayed viewing across NBC, Peacock and digital platforms. That number, calculated from a combination of Nielsen measurement and NBCUniversal’s proprietary data, marked the best viewership for the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting since 2020. The special was the most-watched program on TV that night, and improved on last year’s viewership by 7%. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, it earned a strong 0.8 rating.

Christmas at Graceland is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. Pt/Et on NBC and Peacock. Christmas might still be a few weeks away, but the holidays have already arrived at Graceland. Airing live from Elvis Presley’s legendary Memphis home, Lana Del Rey, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, and more artists will perform some of the King’s iconic songs during a holiday special dubbed Christmas at Graceland on NBC.

Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, and more will appear on NBC’s Christmas at Graceland, a new television special celebrating the legacy of Elvis Presley and his canon of holiday classics. The special will air live on Wednesday, November 29th, at 10:00 p.m. Et, after which it’ll be available on Peacock.

On Nov. 29, “Christmas at Graceland” will feature live musical performances from Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone and The War And Treaty.

In “Crashing Through the Snow,” Amy Acker and Kristian Bruun star as Maggie and Jeff, who are ex-spouses but friends first. Christmas in July will return to Hallmark bringing Crashing Through The Snow, starring Amy Acker and Warren Christie, to the lineup.

The annual summer movie celebration will kick off Friday, July 9 and will run until Sunday, July 31. Crashing Through The Snow will make its Hallmark debut Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. The film centers on Maggie (Acker), who joins her ex-husband Jeff (Kristian Brunn) and his girlfriend Kate (Brooke Nevin) for a Christmas getaway in Aspen, where she meets Kate’s brother, Sam (Warren Christie).

Crashing Through the Snow is from Through the Snow Pictures Inc. Stan Spry, Eric Woods and Ryan M. Murphy are executive producers. Anthony Fankhauser is co-executive producer.

This year’s lineup will also include a 2020 Movie Marathon, Soap Sunday and Countdown to Christmas Greatest Hits, which will feature holiday movies including The Christmas Ring and Crown for Christmas.

Hallmark’s 2020 “Countdown to Christmas” has already begun, with a total of 40 new holiday movies set to air this season across the Hallmark Channel and sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries — some of which started rolling out well before Halloween.

While there are some fan-favorite Hallmark actors and actresses starring in the lineup, like Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Will Kemp, Holly Robinson Peete and Danica McKellar, there are several newcomers leading films, including Aaron Tveit, Krystal Joy Brown, Victoria Clark, Tom McGowan, Alvina August, Janel Parrish, Jeremy Jordan and Marisol Nichols, among many others.

This year’s slate also includes “The Christmas House,” which stars Jonathan Bennett and features a storyline about a gay couple looking to adopt their first child. It’s that time of year again — the chestnuts are roasting, the marshmallows are toasting, and the Hallmark holiday movies are airing multiple times a week from now until the end of the year.

Of the 40 new original movies Hallmark is rolling out this holiday season, 24 are part of its 10th annual “Countdown to Christmas” event. The other 16 will air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Some of the original movies have aired since the end of October, which can be streamed on Hallmark Movies Now. The rest of this year’s holiday programming, like “Christmas at Dollywood,” starring Dolly Parton and “Merry & Bright,” starring Jodie Sweetin, will continue to roll out on both channels until Dec. 28.
