The idea of a person coming back as a ghost to find out who killed her has been done before, but is a nice enough idea. The plot, the red herrings, the eventual motive and uncovering are quite well put together and the acting by all the teenagers was not at all bad. My problem is with the adults. Their performances are so ridiculous, that they have careered into caricature, so much so that it threatens to drag the rest of the movie into dis-belief. I'm guessing that the performances were directed this way for humour, to me it wasn't necessary and there was enough light hearted moments throughout the rest of the movie to keep people happy. Not a bad movie though and worth watching for the teen age group.

I only made it five minutes in so I didn't watch the entire movie. The first impression i had was the acting was awful. I couldn't bare to move further into the story line. When the girl realized a ghost was in her room she had no reaction. I'm pretty sure we'd all freak out and cry right? Lol

If you are over the age of 9 you will know just how bad the acting is in this movie. 10? You'll realize the writng and storyline sucks.

It's a horrible movie by any standard

The two main females cannot act at all. They read thier lines like automatons.

Their future is surely slasher flicks where they will be nude most the time.

The beginning of this fun movie will start you laughing. It's quite entertaining. I watched this with my 16 year old daughter and we loved it! We related to so many parts and kept laughing all through it. The 2 main characters are opposites, but need each other. It great to see their friendship develop. The intriguing storyline keeps you guessing who might or might not have killed the ghost. The Beverly Hills high schoolers show they are girls experiencing typical teenage emotions, dramas, and situations. I found myself relating to the nerds and fashionistas both. The acting is great, especially the goofy mom. I highly recommend this movie!

Really like this movie a lot! The main characters were all really funny and the haunting sequence in the beginning was probably my favorite part! I thought the high school parts had a lot of good jokes that made fun of Beverly Hills stereotypes, too. Kind of reminds me of Clueless or some of the other movies I used to watch as a 90s kid which was a fun throwback. If you have kids they will like this movie and it would be appropriate by anyone's standards!

This was a great kids/family movie. It reminds me of Casper with a bit of Clue mixed in. The mystery had a lot of twists and turns in it which kept things interesting and funny at the same time. The two main characters have great chemistry and the side characters are the perfect compliment. Whoever played the dad and mom characters were perfect, very well cast. The music was also really good, without it being a musical. There were just a couple musical performances which I was surprised I liked because sometimes I fast forward through those in movies. Overall, just a really funny movie that is definitely worth a watch.

Keeping in mind that most of the characters are Beverly Hills cliches, this is a very funny whodunit ghost story. With a teaspoon of seriousness. As one pretty much surmises from the title, there is a ghost in Beverly Hills. A high school senior apparently committed suicide, but her ghost appears to one special girl and lets her know that she isn't sure exactly how she died, but it certainly wasn't suicide. And the fun starts there. Bev Hills High is full of typical spoiled Cali students, any of whom might know what happened, or, God forbid, may be a murderer! Okay, that's the first 3 minutes of the movie--the rest is serious fun.

This movie was funny and light-hearted with a dark sense of humor. I couldn't tell how it was going to end. It kept twisting and turning.

Beverly Hills Ghost is a fun, lighthearted watch, with an interesting twist at the end. My boyfriend and I genuinely enjoyed it, and we're in our mid-20s. I especially loved the progression of Missy and Sari's relationship -- the dialogue between them is lovingly snarky and relatable. Made me want to hit up all my girlfriends to hang. I'm not a professional film critic, but for an indie production company's first movie, this was very well done on so many levels! Definitely a feel-good movie that I'd recommend to kids/families, teens, and even 20-somethings.
