What happens when the most eligible bachelor in Delhi, Veerey messes up his first meeting with the father of his beloved? The most fatal blow to the loved-up couple: NO blessing from the father-in-law! Not helping the matter further, is Veerey's elder cousin brother, Balli, who threatens the would-be in-laws with dire consequences if anyone dares to break Veerey's heart.

Veerey / Veer Arora (Pulkit Samrat) is a bit of a Delhi Robinhood and loves Geet (Kriti Kharbanda). Veer's cousin brother Balli (Jimmy Shergill) is a tough as nails car dealer. Veer is a somewhat of a romantic character and the fathers of the neighborhood worry that he would run away with their daughter. Veer does charity on his father's money. He spends Rs 270,000 on 2 dentures for 2 destitute old people that he met at a random juice stand in Delhi, as they wanted to eat nuts.

Despite this, Veer believes in the rule of law and stops criminals from conducting their business in Delhi. He alone intercepts and stops a gang of robbers from stealing money from an armored cash delivery vehicle. But then he gives his own money to the robbers as they needed cash for their own family expenses.

Veer's father Prabhu asked him to manage his garments factory for a few weeks while Prabhu was travelling. Veer noticed that a 50-year-old delivery manager had romantic feelings for the owner of a beauty parlor. Veer for the 2 of them married and the guy went on a 3-month honeymoon. Now Prabhu's deliveries are delayed, and Prabhu is having to lie to his customers.

Veer also sits at street stalls across Delhi and ensures that girls passing through are not Eve teased by Romeo type goons who occupy such street stalls. Geet really respects Veer for the same.

Female police officer Rani Chaudhary (Yuvika Chaudhary) has the hots for Balli, but he keeps ignoring her advances. Balli used to love a girl, but when her parents came to his house with a wedding proposal, Veer's father Prabhu Arora / Balli's Chacha (Micky Makhija) said some things (in humor) out of context that suggested that Balli had had an affair. Prabhu indicated that Balli was crazy after a girl named Mallika and even spent 3 days with her in a secluded place. But the woman was actually Mallika Sherawat, of whom Balli was a huge fan and he spent 3 days watching her movie Murder 25 times. The wedding never happened & since then Balli cannot accept love & is bitter towards his Chacha.

On his grandfather's birthday anniversary, Veer announces a one-month bonus for the factory staff. However, Balli wants to take revenge on Prabhu and interjects and announces that the bonus amount would be 2 months. This costs Prabhu Rs 70 Lakhs.

One fine day, Balli is delivering car papers at an address, when a girl Rinki (Payal Rajput) is being pressured by her dad to accept his choice of groom or produce a groom of her own. As Balli walks in, Rinki points to Balli and claims that Balli is her boyfriend, to get her dad to back off.

Now Balli cannot understand what transpired and quietly leaves Rinky's home. Rinky feels guilty about taking advantage of a nice guy like Balli and calls him later in the night to talk her heart out. Rinky is very talkative and can talk for hours non-stop. Meanwhile, Balli is a reserved person with less words. Slowly Rinki falls in love with Balli, and Balli also falls for her after an emotional roller-coaster ride. Rinki says that she used to love a different guy, but now understands that it was a infatuation and that she really loves Balli.

Veer takes Geet to meet his mother Mona (Anita Kulkarni) and they get along very well. Geet is horrible at cooking, but Prabhu says that it is the heart of the girl that matters and he approves of Geet.

Geet finally gets Veer to meet her father. Her dad Gopi (Satish Kaushik) is a Gandhian and despises violence. Gopi has a sweets shop in the city and is wealthy. Gopi fires 2 shop employees on the spot as they kept on fighting with each other. Gopi is getting pressured to sell a 70 Acre land by some intermediaries, but he is not interested in selling. Gopi is married to Juhi (Supriya Karnik).

The meeting between Veer and Gopis is set at a hotel. Geet wants Veer to refrain from any heroic antics. But at the hotel, one goon harasses a girl, and Veer has to intervene to beat him up. Gopi is angry at Veer and calls off any further discussion. Gopi believes that violence is indicative of a lack of self-control.

When Balli comes to know he goes to Gopi and threatens him with dire consequences if he breaks Veer's heart. Balli gives Gopi 48 hours to bring the marriage proposal to Veer's parents. After this, Geet, who was sympathetic to Veer till now, turns against his entire family and calls off the idea of marriage.

Veer's dad Prabhu goes to meet Gopi to soothe things over but only ends up making things worse. Gopi hates the name Prabhu as his wife had an ex-boyfriend named Prabhu before marriage. Gopi insults Prabhu over the behavior of his 2 boys and throws him out of his house. Meanwhile Rinki breaks up with Balli, saying that she has reconciled with her ex.

Meanwhile Geet & Veer make up and now think about how to reconcile their families. But Gopi meets an entrepreneur businessman KK and is very impressed with his views on India and non-violence. He decides to marry Geet to KK. Gopi doesn't know that KK is related to a notorious mafia family. It is also revealed that KK had orchestrated the entire show to entice Gopi to ask for his hand in marriage as KK wants a 70-acre piece of land that Gopi was earlier refusing to sell to KK's company. That land falls in between a project that KK wants to develop. Gopi finds out and calls off the wedding with KK.

Meanwhile Gopi's wife & Geet tell Gopi about how they view Veer's violence as a positive impact in society. Gopi apologizes to Prabhu and fixes Geet's wedding with Veer. On the day, KK attacks with his full force. Veer fights them off.

Rani arrives just in time to rescue Balli. Veer weds Geet and Balli finally weds Rani.
