Miguel: I hate poor people. Well, I'm poor myself, so I choose to look the other way.

Aurora: You think a normal person would have done what you did?
Carlos: [unmoved] Yes.

Bartender: Hey, it's ok if you're both faggots, but you should be more discrete.
Ramón: What the fuck did you say?
Bartender: That if you're both faggots...
[Ramón hits him on the head with a bottle of whisky and Carlitos laughs at the scene]

Ramón: You're cute, blondie. You remind me of a girl I used to date.
Carlos: You can keep the vinyl too.

Marisol: Why do you carry a gun?
Carlos: The street is getting weird. You can't go around defenseless. It's for your safety too. What do I tell your parents if something were to happen to you?
Carlos: [shows her two guns under his waistband] One for you and one for your sister.

Ramón: Is it true what they say about twins?
Magdalena: What?
Ramón: That if one of them feels something, the other one feels it too.
Magdalena: That depends. It has to be a very intense feeling.

[about Marisol]
Carlos: What's the matter with her?
Magdalena: You're so selfish, Carlos.

[after the gun-shop robbery]
José: Listen up. I can't end up back in jail. And if you get caught while working with me, your mother will cut my balls off. That kid is a genius. If we train him right, we can make a fortune. But we've got to do things right, not the fucking mess we did today.
Ramón: Don't worry about it, he'll listen to me.
José: I think we've got the perfect band.
