Mahakaali is one of my favourite show but I didn't wanted to watch just because of Saurabh Jain. He is best as Lord Vishnu and also as Lord Krishna. But never as Mahadev. I almost skipped his every part. Neither his body language nor his acting fits perfect for role of Mahadev. Only Reason I watched it because of Pooja She is the besttt. She actually nailed it and beautifully represented the dignity of Maa Parvati.
One more thing Lord Vishnu is not perfectly shown. He has shown as weak. I would have love the show If Saurabh Jain as Lord Vishnu and Mohit Raina as Mahadev and Pooja as Mata Parvati. It would have been blockbuster.

Better then shiv shakti, better than mahadev, one of the best onscreen couple even today, sourabh Raj jain proved to be versatile actor, who can pull down any character onscreen with dignity, better than ram yashwardhan, and also pooja sharma who did a fantastic job onscreen, better than subha rajput , yes the show was underrated because the country we live in completely doesn't support feminism entirely that's why the show doesn't got any award, but acting was top notch, the story was different from any mythology as told by Siddharth kumar tiwari, I think people doesn't see the hard work behind this. Any way I want both the actors come onscreen again, and create the magic they have did before once again.

Fabulous Pooja!! Fabulous Sourabh!! Pooja perfectly holds the dignity of Parvati as well as Mahakaali. Miss the role of Parvati, her eyes, her expressions, emotions, the way she performed was something up than an actor would do. Her honesty & majesty she holds in every word she speaks and every action she does makes our hearts cry out of delight as well as sorrowMiss Sourabh too, who clarily dignifies Mahadev. Hope that you both come back soon! For ANTH HI AARAMBH HAI!!

Saw this show few months back and i have to say that it is one of the best portrayal of Goddess Parvati ever done by any actress on Indian Television. Pooja has emoted every expression perfectly and she looks so good with Sourabh. They together as Shiv Shakti really complemented each other and looked divine. This show was full of emotions and showed all the ups and downs of shiv shakti beautifully. Every show has creative liberty and this show also had but still it manages to give that emotions and divinity and message that it wanted to give. Very few show has till now showed the story of Goddess Mahakali but this show was fully based on her so it very well did justice. And Pooja as Goddess Parvati/ Mahakali looked so heavenly divine that it feels Goddess herself is standing infront of the eyes. Must watch.

What a show, what acting, what music and what cinematography!! Simply brilliant. Pooja Sharma absolutely knocked it out of the park and her chemistry with Sourabh Raaj Jain is simply beautiful.
I actually enjoyed SRJ more as Jalandhar than Mahadev. Mohit Raina is unforgettable as Mahadev.

Instead of showing how Goddess Durga created the world, the story of Shatakshi, Sheetala etc nothing is shown. The part of the story where tridev create Shakti and everybody gifts here things like shankh, gada etc. Nothing is shown
Since the very first episode, Mata is constantly shown as a timid, naive, low confident anxious woman who does everything by chance and is completely dependent on her husband for reassurance.
Please, she is Shakti. She is the epitome of confidence, clarity, power, authority and grace. Please don't show her as a bipolar woman who is afraid and without confidence at one moment, and angry without self control at another moment.
Lord Shiva looks tensed all the time. While he is supposed to look calm and balanced.
There is so much in Goddess Durga's legend but I reached 14th episode and all I could see is one demon after another who constantly wants to simply win over Kailash without any background to it.
The story looked more like a children fantasy superhero show instead of a Religious show. Even the conversations during the battles sound like a children show.
Couldn't watch after episode 14, it just gets monotonous.

This show is SO underrated and I'm surprised it isn't more recognised! The mythology is extremely well researched and even the creative liberties add beautifully to the captivating story-telling. What a stellar cast! Pooja Sharma and Saurabh Raj Jain are SO convincing as the great gods, especially the former. Her seamless portrayal as the gentle Ma Parvati and ferocious Ma Kali is simply outstanding. She's such a gift to Indian TV! The costumes, special effects, dialogues, soundtracks, music, cinematography is all top notch and every episode gives goose bumps! The viewer gets instantly connected to the mythological world and energies. Not only is the show extremely creative but there's SO MUCH to learn and get inspired from! Couldn't have imagined someone can portray the fierce goddess so well as the lead actress does. Hands down my favourite show!

This is my favourite and best ever serial I had watched. No one ever can ever compete it. Pooja Sharma became my favourite actress, after watching this serial. She gave such a phenomenal performance. All casting, storyline, dialogues, songs, directions are the best. In this serial, I had watched a pure kind of acting and such a heart felting songs. I wish this serial could came back with same actors. This show is the inspiration for today's generation, and I recommend to watch this.
