I enjoyed the story, but towards the end, the boy got a little full of himself while showing off to the other team. Overall message was good, but good sportsmanship should be to. Would have given it a better star rating if the acting wasn't so cheesy.

I think the folks who find fault with this film are from the "glass half-empt" crowd. It's inspiring, teaches practice, diligence, sportsmanship. Watch and enjoy!

Being a sports fan and having coached both my sons when they played baseball this movie reminded me of what a great game it is and how so much can be learned from it. A must see for families with young baseball players.

Most movies have ups and downs...this really didn't, everything seemed to be the best possible outcome. It makes you realize the effort in truly developing the plot - I would not suggest this. Sorry!

My 3 baseball boys love this movie, as soon as it's over they all want to go outside to practice. The overall acting is a little goofy, but the message is great and perfect for kids age 5-12. We rented in on amazon a couple times and finally just decided to buy it on prime so we can watch it whenever we want.

If you love baseball then you might enjoy this movie. However, the acting is some of the worst ever and it makes it so cringy and hard to watch without laughing. They also got some of the most least athletic people to play roles that require some athletic ability.
Not every movie has to be The Godfather or Gone With The Wind. Some movies can just make you feel good that you watched it. Twelve clears that in street clothes. For anyone that has struggled or asked if they were good enough, Twelve gives you hope and promise and makes you want to try! We loved this movie. Absolutely worth it!

I have no words. The way this movie left me breathless was beyond moving. Almost instantly I was brought back to the summers of my youth playing ball with my buddies. Kyle's strength and determination even when faced with the adversity of being cut from the local all star team because of a kid who's dad did work for the coach, was SO inspiring. After all the same thing once happened to me. I can only hope that one day my own kids can live up to the legacy that was Kyle. Maybe I will name one of them after Kyle in his honor?? Anyway, I 1000000% recommend "12" it's a real tear jerker. Sequel "13" coming out soon?
This movie is just awful. I found myself laughing at this film throughout this whole film. The first problem is the acting, it's really bad. It seems like they just got actors off the streets. They only have two sets, the baseball field, and the house. It seems like the only spent $8 dollars on the film, it looks really bad. I almost recommend that you watch this film base on how bad it is. This movie doesn't deserve a 7.9 rating.

This was a beautiful story - perfect for the entire family! Great performances by all and I can't wait to watch it again with my nephew!
So predictable you want to root for the bad guys. Many flaws but the limited budget does not mean the acting has to be so terribly bad.
My entire family really enjoyed this movie! My sons are 6 and 8, and all they want to do now is go outside and start practicing like Kyle! Not only is it family-friendly, but there are many good lessons to be learned as well. We were all cheering for the Brighton team!

I have seen thousands of movies and this is by far the worst. I cannot put into words what a travesty the whole thing turned out to be. An absolute abomination. Cheesy dialogue, over-acting, under-directing... every negative word you can think of.

My 11 year old loves baseball and babeball movie. He and has watched it several times and I'm sure it will be a regular in the rotation going forward! Love the emphasis on hard work, positive attitudes, and practice. It was enjoyable for the whole family.

Heartwarming story of hard work and dedication. This story includes all of the highs and lows associated with life, told thru a young boys journey, striving to make it to the Little League World Series.

A little slow to start but persevere and you will enjoy the warmth, determination, skills and talent that arise out of a strong family, encouragement and dedication to team - a kid of 12 had the strength of character to overcome nepotism and achieve above and beyond. Bravo.

12 is a movie made with mostly kid amateur players.actors. Director Grimaldi decided to use these kids as an opportunity for these kids to learn about movie making while actually having fun making a movie. It is nit an overwrought story of crazy parents and driven but miserable kids. It us the story of a kid who wanted to put in the work to become better. How many of us as coaches have asked our kids to do the extra r=things to make themselves better-play catch, do push ups, work on fundamentals even if they are hiring. This story hits all of this. It is as true a coaching and playing movie as I have seen, and I have been around baseball for forty-five years.
