You can not listen to vogue without conjuring up the images of the video in your head. Effortlessly cool, Madonna at the height of her fame and beauty. Important to remember that in 1990 Aids was spreading fear through the world and the stigma for being gay was at an all time high. Madonna proved to be a major ally, pushing gay culture front and centre stage and also using main protagonists who developed vogueing on the New York gay underground scene.
