Nice scenery and interesting locations, but who believes this "we're on our own" bs?
I rarely (if ever) see their cameraman actually holding a camera and their security guy really isn't their security guy.....it's obvious there is a complete other team around them for filming and security. That's ok but don't pretend otherwise......viewers are not stupid.
Also whats up with showing the same previews of whats to come over and over again!? .....and endless recaps....

As an Aussie I'm probably going to be biased here. The best season yet of Gold Rush: Parker's Trail. You see lots of gold and mining, what more can you ask from a show about gold mining? The diversity of mining techniques is interesting in itself, and some are seriously dangerous.
You can tell Parker has a thing for Tyler and vice versa, nothing like a little romance in the outback.
I've seen the Super Pit first hand, and it's big, you can't really appreciate its size, you can't wrap your head around how deep it is, the trucks are so small, yet you know a wheel is twice the height of an average bloke. Just wow!
The season is a little patchy, but there's enough to make it worth your while.

Just finished last episode of Parkers Trail season 6. What a business deal Parker made with Cancio. Poor Cancio desperately needed some help with the deal they struck. Parker played a poker face which was obvious to me but not Cancio. Parker gives him 25 k and takes 50% of the gold Cancio and family find!! WOW!! Parker pry spends 25k everyday or 2 for operating costs in the Yukon. Parker kept saying what a gamble it was for him to the Camera, Not hardly, that's chump change to Parker. He'll Parker seen the gold and found Cancio's recovery rate to be INCREDIBLE!! A gamble?? Not hardly. Parker struck the deal of a lifetime, now I hope he can sleep ok! I remember when Parker moaned, groaned and whined when evil Tony come to collect his royalties every gold weigh and I think it was like only 20%.😜
Really enjoyed this season, the idea of travelling virtually all the way around Australia is something I wouldn't mind doing myself. Lots of interesting places, and they met some excellent people on the way round. We got to meet the very talented and knowledgable Tyler who I hope joins them on the next adventure wherever that may be. Don't want to give any spoilers away but this is definitely worth a watch for any Gold Rush fan.

A lot of effort and planning has gone into making this programme to make it work logistically. It's a shame it doesn't live up to its potential. I'm a big fan of the gold rush series, I think they work because most of the characters are as interesting as watching the gold come out of the ground. This is where this series fails for me, Parker is true to himself, I don't feel like he's playing to the cameras he's pretty dry and quite moody at times but I accept him for who he is and quite like him. Tyler's an ok addition although I think she lacks a bit of presence and personality to carry of her roll. I can't workout why Wow check out the sluice Dan is almost carrying the production or seemingly so. It doesnt work for me at all, either shoot shots and shut up or get rid of him, he's incredibly irritating to watch. Could be so much better with a bit less drama and less cheese. Ok if you don't feel like using your brain too much on a Sunday afternoon.

Parker is undoubtedly a talented and driven guy. But, man is it difficult to watch his mood roller coaster sometimes. His colleagues all seem like good guys, but it is uncomfortable to watch Parker moan and generally behave atrociously to towards his friends. Why do I want to tune in to watch someone constantly be rude to those around him? Obviously this is a challenging undertaking for the team, but I don't see the rest of the expedition spiralling down into a dark funk of utter bummedoutedness. Maybe he'll chill on series 2!?

It's a good thing they did it with modern day gear, im pretty sure all the guys would have died without it - the woman was the only one with any sense. Also grow up Parker, when problems arise you adapt and overcome - you don't go club trees with a shotgun then storm off in a hissy fit. This could have been a neat show but he ruined it.

Series not too bad so far, Guyana a bit disappointing. I really want to see this series taking Parker to Australia to prospect in the outback with metal detectors and use a dry-blower to find gold. Would make sense too as his girlfriend is Australian.

It is amazing how stupid and unprepared these idiots are. Pioneering is one thing but being prepared and safe is another. They are blessed with luck but that is it.

I feel cheated watching the less than stellar Guyana series which sucked majorly. They didn't find anything, it was whack, and a complete waste of my time.

Gold Rush is a great show and Parker is great on Gold Rush, but this show is slow paced and boring.
I found programme boring because of Parkers immature attitude. If the trail was attempted before the freeze would have made all the difference. We didn't see them cook and eat those birds so makes us wonder if they ate packed food or military ready to eat rations. The Girl, Rick and the cameraman were good.

If you wanna be on the show be on the show, its ridiculous that the camera man is talking all the time, STFU go with the flow and film.
Interesting and fun to see gold mining and travel.
Annoying as hell having to constantly look at the photographers face
Definitely made-for-TV bs at times.

This upstart is the rudest most obnoxious idiot on any of these now crap shows, how he hasn't been ko'd by some of the people he's had working for him is a mystery.Other than that how he's still alive is another mystery with some of the stupid & dangerous things he does.

Out of 10 espisodes 3 were literally throwaways. if you don't have enough content to fill 10 episodes you should have just stuck with 6. watching this 3rd season was a pain. it's like some poorly planned travel show.

Three hours of largely commercials. Commercials every 10 minutes. Ten minute segments, deduct intros and exits into each segment and you have 7 minutes before a commercial.
