Cristela Alonzo: Lower Classy

I watched her series "Cristela" and was sorry when it didn't get picked up again, so was happy to view this performance.

As always, she brought out the funny in things that usually aren't (but really are). And made us laugh at ourselves - hopefully.

She's a master at pointing out the absurd, like Whole Foods, among so many other things.

Keep coming back, Cristela!!! We really need your humor right now.

I found this stand-up comedy special on Netflix, and I have never heard about Cristela Alonzo before so I decided to give it a go.

And it turned out that she was actually rather hilarious, and she had lots of on-screen energy and stage presence. Her jokes were funny, and she had a really great way of delivering her material.

I enjoyed the way that she brought her own life experiences into the show and she didn't resort to below-the-belt jokes and material, which unfortunately a lot of male stand-up comedians tend to do.

I was thoroughly entertained and had good laughs as Cristela Alonzo spewed her jokes at the audience, this is definitely worth a watch if you enjoy a good stand-up comedy show.
