I don't understand all the hate for this movie. I read the other reviews and was shocked. If you don't like Christian films, don't watch them. We all know that Christian movies are not going to be like big budget Hollywood films. They're low budget, shot on a shoestring, basically a labor of love. Before All Others isn't as polished as other films and there were a few hiccups here and there. But that said, I really enjoyed it. The story was entertaining, the actors were good, especially the grandmother.
So ignore the reviews, mine included and watch Before All Others and make up your own mind. :)

This movie had the potential of being much better than it turned out to be. For an independent film, the quality and acting were well done, but the story fell short. It felt like every was accelerated in the storyline and the ending was confusing. What happened? Was something edited for time and so they decided to just cut everything out? Overall, it wasn't a waste of time, but it left me feeling confused and unsatisfied.

Another God does things to test us movie. FMD how can people in today's crap society still get inspiration out of this sort of garbage. Over acted, over portrayed as the goodness of a mythical being. I wanted to burn a bible after watching this dribble. Avoid this crap unless of course you are in the bible belt and brain washed

It reminded me of the video I did when I was in high school. All we had was adobe premiere pro to work with. Yes it's almost impossible to get a good video program and during this decade now you have Cgi, the power of Final Cut Pro, high definition and so forth. But it was a fun film to watch. I actually enjoy it because it reminded me of the school film we did lol 😂 thought not super budgeted it work to get us thru the subject. I like it because it works with what it has. Don't expect a James Cameron film. We are not investing billions of dollars but it's truly sentimental for the purposes I just mention.

I thought when I read the first review, written by an atheist, I ought to read a few more, since I am a Bible believing Christian. But then found the review from a Christian, who also gave it 1 star. I don't know what represents Christianity worse, the way Christians are portrayed in most TV and films, or Cheesy cheap "Christian films".
I totally depend on IMBD user reviews to help me decide what to watch and avoid wasting my time. Thanks, Community!

What a good family heartwarming film. It's so good to see a good faith based film. I really enjoyed John Eubers performance. All the cast was good. The film does need more score. You can't go wrong with Prescott az a location. Arizona is beautiful. I had a close friend who had this debilitating desease and sadly passed away. I had no idea how this desease can affect a person. So much here I could relate to. Getting old is one of them. There's a few good life lessons here the best of which is it's all in God's time. And if we are ever in need of help, good friends, strong church and a caring community can all be a comfort.
This movie was okay, but it does not explain how seriously debilitating and devastating GBS actually can be. The movie portrays GBS as being no more serious than the common flu and that the majority of patients fully recover. This is just not true. GBS can cause permanent paralysis and lifelong disability. It can cause coma, weakened chest muscles can affect lung functioning and other serious medical problems. And THERE IS NO CURE. And I should know, I've been dealing with the aftermath of having GBS fifty-five years ago since I was fifteen. If people are going to make a movie about a rare and serious illness, JUST DON'T SUGARCOAT IT!!!

Wow! If you're thinking of watching this film, trust me, don't! Definitely not what I'd consider a Christian movie. Storyline, acting, and directing definitely missed the mark!
