Great acting, great production, and mind blowing CGI cannot make up for poor writing.
"It's easy to do things that are shocking or unexpected, but they have to grow out of characters. They have to grow out of situations. Otherwise, it's just being shocking for being shocking." -GRRM

It's the worst end possible to such an iconic series! Very very disappointed!
Was this episode visually appealing? YES. Could the script for this episode be better? YES.
If you just want action, lots of fighting and explosions then this is the episode you are going to enjoy. But if you want a logical story line without plot holes, a poor plot amour and strong character development (or endings), then no. The story line is very obviously rushed and you can tell that D&D has put little thought into writing a script that could match the levels of the earlier seasons, instead they opted for a more cinematic approach with impressive visuals.

Visuals were great.
But GOT is not only about good visuals.
Got was always based on a strong story with a lot of things that actually made sense.
I can only think about the dissapointment of the actors on which how the show has been progressing in season 8.
To be honest, i feel attacked by the way D&D thought to complete these series.
You can clearly see Martin missing from here.
Nothing makes sense about this show anymore.
I feel so angry with waiting all these years for this and it happening without any sense of logic.
The ones that are so happy with the show and such, they haven't been waiting for years and aparently think the show is based on visuals, rather than politics, plots and character development.
NO ONE EXPECTED A HAPPY ENDING, WE JUST EXPECTED A LOGIC ENDING.
Dissapointing to the core.
6/10 for the visuals and only.
This episode is D&D trying to bring back the old game of thrones plot twists the way Martin did, and failing bad.
They had enough budget for 10 episodes.
They preferred to make 6 rushed hollywood action films.

- WissenswertesThe big fight between Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Euron (Pilou Asbæk) was the last scene that Coster-Waldau shot for the entire series, an emotional moment he was happy to share with Asbæk; despite playing adversaries on the show, both men have been friends for years, and worked on several projects (as both come from Denmark).
- PatzerSoldiers are ordered to shoot with the Scorpions by the command "Fire!" It does not make sense to use the word in a fictional world, where combustion weapons are not invented. The command for bow-type weapons would be "Loose!"

Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane: Yeah, that's you. That's what you've always been.
