This is a film on horses, horse riding, horse racing and a whole culture around these in the steppes of Mongolia. Breath-taking scenery accompanies the story of a boy growing up riding horses. I find the simple story quite relatable and each minute enjoyable. The main downside of the film is the whole part in English which doesn't seem necessary for the plot and looks rather pretentious. The editing is also choppy at times but overall it is one of the best films on Mongolian culture.

After a point of 8,5/10 with NO REVIEWS felt so fishy to me, so I decided to watch the movie myself. I could watch it for about 5-10 minutes at most. Total joke. It must be used as a new method of torture. Do NOT watch this movie.

This film is a terrible fail. The whole conflict of the film is rendered obsolete due to the incomplete ending.
The 'Sara' character, though being the secondary focus, has little to no positive impact on the film and only creates an unnecessary awkward atmosphere throughout by talking without thinking. The child's connection to Sara is barely hinted- why the child is so attached to her and why he writes her a long letter is unresolved to say the least. Nothing is summed up, no goal reached, no artistic experimentation, no consistent storyline! You'll just have to sit for 1:30 hours waiting for a resolution of this terribly executed film of no consistent storyline and below mediocre artistic value.
