I'm not a big fan of Sri Lankan films in general and romantic films in particular, but I was impressed by this film.

The good: The characters are interesting. The lead actors do a good job portraying the chemistry between them and the different emotional states they have to go through as the story progresses. The camera- work focuses a lot on their emotional exchanges and it does this well in my opinion. The humor was great (I was laughing out loud a lot in the theater) and there's just the right amount of it. The music and the songs were pretty good too.

The bad: The story could have been better, and felt a bit rushed towards the end. Clichés were used a bit too often for my liking.

Overall, I liked this film. As a romantic musical it was fun to watch. The story could have been a little more compelling but it is good enough. If you are looking for a Sinhala-language romantic film - perhaps to watch with a significant other - do give this a try.

I heard this from a friend and watched recently. I am not a sinhala movie fan but however this creation took my heart. Most of people think this is a another copy of Aashique 2 but the Movie is totally different. There are small similarities anyhow I love the film.
