Not funny, not at all. Jimmy is a phony unlikable drug addict/actor with no redeeming qualities.

Cold and selfish he is used by other cartoonish characters who ultimately cast him aside when he is of no further use.

A pointless waste of everyone's time...the audience the cast and crew.

Bad bad terrible writing featuring an annoying narration by the main actor throughout which I think an admission by the studio that the turkey won't fly and something was needed to stitch the mess together.

The best part were the scenes of Los Angeles streets and landmarks with nice arial shots of the city.

It was a nice break from the plot and the general stupidity.

I made an account just to say how bad this movie is. The only laughs it got out of me and my girlfriend were us cringing at the 4th wall breaks. The protagonist periodically turns to the camera to say a witty one liner that seems like it was written by a 14 year old, which was embarrassing. Not even a good bad movie, infuriating at points with just how generic and soulless it seems. We put the movie on with low expectations but it exceeded in boring us. It seems like there's money behind its production, edited nicely and the sets are believable. If you are looking for a good bad movie then this is not the one!

I don't know where to even begin. This was a so bad it's good kinda flick, like if you got a group together to check it out - you'd laugh and wonder aloud 'wtf' several times.

Maybe the amazing dialogue like 'I'm not gay. Am I gay???' or 'and we all know hookers love cocaine.' Or 'my bro just b@nged a hot chick in the bathroom.'

Or maybe it's the brother coming out as trans after driving 2000 miles to sleep on a couch then telling everyone he's gay, which are two very diff things

Or maybe it's the fact it's about a sleazy guy who sleeps his way through Hollywood and the chapters of the story are read out loud by a babies voice???

Or when he's told he's going to have bleach his @$$hole for the role in an African American pie spy thriller romance movie

Or how every character sleeps with him, helps him, compliments him, etc. Even lesbians want to go to go bed with him! Now that's very real and very cool. Or when some guy calls him and ends the convo by telling him he's the man.

Or how he just uses this poor younger guy for his money and berates him for not complimenting him enough. And makes him sleep outside after charging rent then sleeps with the guys date by lying and tricking her.

Or how the dude questions himself and someone tells him to just keep being himself cause he's so great and that's what inspires him to continue on rather than you know...learn or grow or develop. God forbid.

Or the end where the film admits it means nothing and adds up to zero.

Or the weird references to things from 10-15 years ago constantly. Did an AI write this???

Seriously this movie was written by some fratbro or something because it's trying to pretend he's a smooth talking charismatic van wilder type but it's just not written well enough to work

This was one you have to see to believe. Nobody would believe you if you described it to them and they'd assume you had a fever dream when ill or are mixing up like 7 diff movies.

If you like bad cinema, this is something special at times. We found ourselves laughing and so confused how this ever got made...

Turning on the flick it reminded me of something classic from the get-go. Watching this movie made me feel the passion that the production had and the cast. Well watching the movie I had a blast and I loved the adventure that Jimmy star went through which I could relate to in Hollywood land. The place where Dreams are meant to be broken. But most importantly the experience we all have to go thru.

I I felt for the low budget movie they had some high-level production and great camera work throughout the lighting sometimes was off but as a little budget mover you do your best with what you have.

Erik Fellows is one of the most under-appreciated actors of our time - finally, he gets a movie that showcases his talents. Jimmy Starr is obnoxious, arrogant and desperate to succeed - all of which makes his journey in hollywood truly unforgettable. You kinda hate him, kinda love him, and you may even wanna sleep with him LOL, but you can't stop watching. The movie is full of laughs and satire on the state of hollywood and the lengths people will go to, to be a star.

Erik shines as the ego-maniac - the story is well written, its well directed and filmed. This is a movie that deserves mass recognition.

Erik Fellows has once again aced his role, playing the narcissistic Jimmy Starr, a character that you will have a love/hate relationship with . I am a die-hard Erik Fellows fan and I follow his career, not wanting to miss a single thing ! Also, Mark David is a PHENOMENAL writer, director and cinematographer ... LOVE this guy ! Johnny Dower's won me over with his portrayal of Jimmy's brother Grant, a lovable character you won't soon forget ... Johnny never disappoints ! This film definitely has a surprise ending ... who'da thunk it ! ;) I can't wait to see what lies in the future for this talented bunch !

Erik Fellows is the actor we've been wanting to come back with a comedy like this. If you're a fan of movies such as Step Brothers, The Hangover, Wedding Crashers! This is strongly going back to that tone of humor, with lovable characters, and sincere heartfelt moments. Imagine the guy you knew in high school, college, or maybe even at work. That is so into himself, his pride has pride.

That's Jimmy Starr. You hate him, you love him. He's the guy you can't stop watching. But also waiting for him to mess up. Though this is on the extreme side of what can happen to a young, good looking artist wanting to make it in the industry. It's also not completely too far off.

Each scene is capturing in its own way, and continues to drive the story. You'll watch the character referred to as Johnny Starr go through highs and lows. Do some shady things, you tend to hear about in Hollywood. Though, at the core. He's still a good person. A great film, one I'm hoping inspires more to come after.

You will be taken through this amazing,adrenaline packed journey as Erik Fellows, or Jimmy shows you every reason he is going to own Hollywood. Erik is addictive, and striking as he captures your heart. The creativity of Jimmy is his unknowing approach to his entanglements. You will laugh, you may cry, but you will be remorseful if you skip this adventure. Truly one guy who knows how to go after what he needs and wants to top all the others in town. Brilliantly directed, and acted by all. Erik captures your attention in every single scene. I wished I could have even a moment to be one of his entanglements.

Erik Fellows dominates his role as Jimmy Starr in this hilarious over the top comedy. He's that good lookin' guy filled with talent that's out to get his and is brazen as can be in achieving stardom. Get ready to laugh at all the great one liners and twists and turns! This movie hits on sensitive subject matter and also things that could happen to any one of us in real life. His journey is a tumultuous one and doesn't always lead him to happiness. You never know what's around the corner watching this one. I like movies that do that, take you on a rollercoaster ride and get you laughing, sighing, hoping, and connect you emotionally to the characters. To me that's what makes a movie a hit. Great job to the whole cast!

This is a highly entertaining comedy that oozes style. It's extremely fun and a bit on the wild side, not meant to be taken too seriously. It's filled with funny and memorable moments. The action is awesome, well-shot and clear.

There are a ton of characters and I like them all. The cast does such a great job, especially Erik Fellows. I remember first seeing Erik Fellows in The Bay and really enjoying that role. Since then, he has taken on vastly different roles and killed all of them; but the way he completely transforms into his character is remarkable. I Cannot wait to see Erik Fellows in his next project.

Really enjoyed this film! I recommend it ! Kept me entertained and wanting more. Super fresh look and the performances for this type of dark comedy and the fact its about the industry and they pulled it off, it was spot on. Great work all around and congrats to everyone involved. Jimmy Starr was a tough character to pull off and I must say the lead actor pulled it off! I didnt know his name before this but I sure do now! Erik Fellows has screen presence and I think we all could agree that he for sure is easy on the eyes too. I cant wait to see him in more roles. I approve this indie film is one to watch for many reasons. Watch it you wont be disappointed .

What a fun film to watch. The dialogue is clever and pokes fun at the movie and TV industry. I have watched it several times with friends and we could not stop laughing.

There are many scenes in the film that are so accurate of the way the acting industry treats their talent. A vivid look into the film world.

ERIK YOU ARE QUITE GREAT AT JIMMY STAR!!!

From the moment I started watching this movie I knew that I was going to be on an adventure with Jimmy Starr. And he didn't fail me. What a ride!

Erik Fellows embodies this character and even though he is manipulative you cannot help but embrace him. Through it all he does care and have a heart.

Erik has such great comedic timing that you can see how natural he is in this role. His one-liners...priceless! He is also easy on the eyes! I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store for his next role.

I cannot say how much I enjoyed this movie. I highly recommend it. Watch it because you will not be disappointed!

Really enjoyed this take of a dark comedy on Hollywood! A bit over the top in ways but performed so well by all that It didnt bother me. I dont usually like these sorts of dramatized films but I was recommended this to watch by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised how much I really enjoyed it! What a role coaster this was. I dont know the lead actor Erik Fellows aka Jimmy Starr but what a heck of a performance from him. I'm now a fan. This was not an easy character to like but he somehow made me like him and love him. What an intriguing actor! I give this film all of the stars because for me I really liked the pace and the character development and the visually stimulating presence it obtains through out! Congrats to these actors and the director who were able to pull this off. I highly recommend to give this a watch and understand what they have done here. Good Luck!

Love the way this found it's own little way of showing us what inside of Hollywood looks possibly like and also found it's way of getting us to laugh and possibly cry about it! What strong characters these were. I wasn't sure going into this one what to really expect but I was very pleased by the end! So many twist and turns along the way. Jimmy Starr is something let's just say that! Well done by the actor Erik Fellows portraying this character! I give it the highest rating bc it's so fresh and these people took a risk with this one you can tell and I think it has its own niche! So I leave you with Wow! Def you must watch this one!
