A story about how hard it can be to fight off sleepiness in a classroom, this animated short brilliantly visualizes the struggle. While it has a great sense of humor, there's also a lot of truth in it-and I can definitely relate to what we see in the film. Most of us have probably experienced that battle at some point in life, maybe even many times, so it's hard to disagree with how it's portrayed.

The visuals and animation style are simplified, but they work well in this context.

A student sits in a classroom in the afternoon, fighting to keep their nodding head from the desk. In terms of narrative this is about the extent of it, but the short running time and clever animation makes this a good little watch. Without dialogue the film gives us a lot to relate to by the ways it depicts the feeling of the heavy head, and the wider fight to stay awake. It is not hilarious but it is cleverly amusing, and the flow of the images is very well done, with plenty of detail and slickness in the production. I watched it in lunchtime on a day at work when I had not had much sleep the night before, so although not as bad as the character here, I did have a similar feeling – and it is this ability to understand the struggle from the visual depiction that makes the content work, even if it is a pretty simple little film.

I really enjoyed this short. It has a great sense of humour that translates into the gorgeous visuals. Relatable and lovely.

This might be the most relatable work i even seen. This animated short was smart and amazing.

Afternoon class is maybe one of those moments that you experience but don't talk about a lot and it's always a struggle to stay focused and away during it, so when i watched this i was shocked how expressive it was as if some went inside my mind during the afternoon class. But guess what turns out all students feel the same way about it.

Loved it so much. Loved the style of the art, the animation was very well done, and the colors were so on point. All of it together gave the best description you could have of afternoon class.

A short film reminding , in brilliant manner, the boring of afternoon class. a brave student in fight against sleep. good opportunity for a mix of imagination and admirable animation. the levels, the wake up, the return to different forms of temptation in a class where only him and the teacher are , in essence, present. short, a little gem. impressive, real impressive for each detail.
