In the closing credits, "Stars and Stripes Forever" is misspelled as "Stars and Stripe Forever."

Martha is talking on her cell phone as she puts gas in her car, leaning against the car right beside the gas hose. It is a myth that cell phone use at gas stations is dangerous, and most regions do not put out any particular prohibition on it.

When Martha is stuck behind a golf cart upon her arrival, the camera cuts to a shot of her in her car from the side, but in this shot she's moving much faster and the background is totally different. It looks like the filmmakers simply inserted a shot of her on the freeway by a mountainside from earlier in the film.

The flag in the 'enforcement' officer's office is improperly hung. When wall-mounted vertically, the stars portion of the US flag must be in the top left.

Sheryl walks up to Martha's house, saying she hoped her new neighbor "would be a man." But there was clearly a "Welcome Martha" sign in the front yard, so she should have known better sooner. Update: not really a goof, as she was probably just making conversation. She probably hoped it would be a man prior to finding out it was Martha.
