10 Best Superhero Teams From Marvel And DC Comics, Ranked
Image
In Marvel and DC Comics, superhero teams are a dime a dozen, but who's the best? That, my friends, is in the eye of the beholder. While seasoned comics lovers may vigorously debate the merits and demerits of the Justice League and Avengers, there's bound to be at least one person who'll proclaim their undying love for Alpha Flight and argue why Canada's finest deserves top honor and a Marvel movie. Yes, Sasquatch and Puck rule as characters, but let's not get ahead of ourselves with Alpha Flight here.

Truth be told, it's easy to pick out the 10 best teams from both universes. The issue is ranking them, since there's hardly anything between the groups. They're all powerful and competent enough at dishing out knuckle sandwiches to baddies, so it often comes down to percentages about deciding who moves ahead or stays behind. You need to consider how well the...

The Batman video game we've been longing for may finally happen, reports say
Image
Batman is one of the most popular heroes ever created, which has led him to be the star of multiple live-action movies, animated series, comic book issues, and, of course, video games. At this point, it's no secret that the Batman: Arkham Saga is regarded as one of the greatest superhero video game trilogies ever created. The world Rocksteady crafted was so beloved by fans worldwide that it even inspired a number of spin-offs, including Batman: Arkham Origins and a VR adventure courtesy of Arkham Shadow.

To top things off, Bruce Wayne has also appeared in other beloved gaming franchises such as Injustice and Batman: The Telltale Series. Fortunately, the streak isn't ending anytime soon. Rumor has it that Rocksteady will go back to basics after the disastrous launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and develop a single-player Batman game. But if that wasn't enough, it seems gamers...

DC is finally giving fans the crossover they've longed for
Image
DC Comics’ Absolute Universe has the opportunity to be the best alternate reality in comic book history. That says a lot considering we've gotten the Age of Apocalypse, Superman: Red Son, Injustice, and more. And, while this is a bold claim, it's true.

Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta of Absolute Batman are making Gotham scarier. Writer Jason Aaron has given Superman fans an interesting and extreme take on the Man of Steel. In Absolute Martian Manhunter, Deniz Camp and Javier Rodriguez are creating a story so dark it's only seen in tragic HBO documentaries. And then there’s Kelly Thompson, who could be writing the best series in that realm, Absolute Wonder Woman. And, according to a post by artist Hayden Sherman, Thompson will be adding to that legacy when Diana of the Wild Isle meets the Bat of Gotham City.

10 Fan-Favorite Blade Costumes I Am Hoping To See In Marvel Rivals
Image
If you are into some chaotic superhero showdowns and absolutely love the character catalog of the Marvel universe, then Marvel Rivals might just be the perfect game for you, my friend. From an ever-expanding roster of heroes and villains to team-up abilities, this game is everything that a Marvel fan could ever ask for.

Now I know you have your own plethora of favorite characters in Marvel Rivals, but I have been waiting for Blade’s arrival since rumors about him were floating around the internet. Now that he is officially coming to Marvel Rivals, I have decided to list ten fan-favorite Blade outfits that I need to see in the game. Let’s just jump right into it.

1. Blade (1998) The Og baddass from the movie | Image Credits: Marvel

The outfit from the original 1998 movie, Blade, has to be by far one of the best costumes that I have seen the anti-hero in.

After 12 Years, This DC Series Just Became a Bestseller, And the Reason Makes Zero Sense
Image
An iconic DC Comics series has become a bestseller and even its biggest fans will be surprised why. Over the years, the publisher has had several classic stories reach the top of the charts. But over a decade after one series' release, it's climbed back to the top for a reason that's shocked one of its creators.

On X, Tom Taylor took to the social media platform to discuss one of his earliest works for DC Comics, the tie-in comic series, Injustice. Taylor revealed that on the retail website Amazon, Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One - The Complete Collection is currently a best-selling title.

There is one small issue, as Taylor pointed out in his post. Namely, that Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One - The Complete Collection is classified as a bestseller in the Nonfiction Graphic Novels category. Taylor took that in stride, jokingly pointing out that ‘almost...

The 12 Best Video Games Based On DC Comics, Ranked
Image
DC Comics isn't just about the comics. Apart from the movies, series, figurines, and other merch, there have also been many video games based on the world of DC. Some of the titles have been largely shaped by the films or television series of the time, but there's also more than a few that were originally made just as games then spun out into other media. Look at how the director from "Blue Beetle" took direct inspiration from the "Injustice" video games for the character design.

Now, it would be all too easy to write a list featuring only the "Batman: Arkham" games -- because they were that good, weren't they? -- but there's no fun and fairness in that. So, what we have done is to take our personal preference as gamers and blend that with Metacritic scores to find the best of the best when it comes to DC video games.

Superman's No Kill Rule in the Dcu Explained by James Gunn
Image
James Gunn's Superman movie has hit theaters, and the movie has received plenty of positive reviews and word-of-mouth, in large part thanks to Gunn's script and Corenswet's performance. The film provides audiences with an earnest and joyous interpretation of the iconic superhero, who has long been portrayed through a much more cynical lens in past projects such as Snyder's Dceu and the Injustice comics and video games. Now, Gunn has provided some interesting new commentary on the character, addressing one of the biggest points of discussion surrounding Superman's willingness (or lack thereof) to take a life.

In an interview with Wired, James Gunn, David Corenswet (Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor) took turns answering questions people had about Superman on the internet. One question asked why Superman doesn't kill, something that has always been debated with similar DC heroes like Batman. Corenswet answered the question first,...

Injustice: Gods Among Us Made It Clear Who Should’ve Played Lex Luthor All Along
Image
Over a decade since its release, Injustice: Gods Among Us is still one of the better and more beloved superhero fighting games of its era. But in case you haven’t played the game before, did you know that NetherRealm Studios added a cheeky little Die Hard reference in the game?

Well, we say cheeky, it’s actually very obvious because Lex Luthor looks exactly like Bruce Willis’ John McClane. From his chiseled face to the unmistakably bald head, Luthor’s design in Injustice does make us wonder how the bald actor would’ve done if he played the DC villain on the big screen.

Injustice: Gods Among Us had a very clear nod to Die Hard

The comparisons started as early as the game’s release. Players quickly noticed and pointed out how Injustice’s Lex shared Bruce Willis’s trademark bald head. Even beyond that, the facial structure,...

The Summer of Superman is what the world needs now
Image
Superman is one of the most argued-about characters in comic book fiction. From “Umm actually, in Injustice…” to “Goku would go Super Saiyan and then…” and also “He is bland. He has too many powers!” which leads to the biggest misconception: “Superman is boring.”

Wrong. That is the simplest way to put it.

To go further, we need to understand why we are getting a new take on Superman this summer with James Gunn's upcoming movie.

Superman has been misrepresented in all the types of media for a few decades now.

It's time to remember who Superman really is

We have had the darker take of Superman's story on the big screen with Man of Steel by Zack Snyder, where Superman snaps Zod's neck to save civilians. Many discussions have happened since then about this take and the DC Extended Universe. The Dceu is no longer around, having suffered numerous box-office failures.

'Superman' Star Edi Gathegi Reveals How He Prepared to Play Mr. Terrific, Who "Can Do Anything"
Image
Anticipation of James Gunn'sSupermancontinues to brew ahead of its summer release, and DC Universe fans are eager to see the upcoming iteration. Among its star-studded cast, which includes David Corenswet as the titular character, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, is Edi Gathegi, who will make history as the first actor to portray Michael Holt, Aka Mister Terrific, in a live-action cinematic feature. Michael Holt/Mister Terrific is consistently depicted as one of the most intelligent characters in the DC Universe, holding 14 PhDs and being a self-made tech millionaire with "Third Level Intellect." While Mister Terrific's cerebral power is his greatest strength, he is also an Olympic gold medalist in the decathlon.

During an appearance on the DC Studios Showcase Podcast, Gathegi spoke about how prepared to play a character that "can do anything." Gathegi explained that taking on a role as accomplished as Mister...

Rumors Point To Injustice 3 Over New Mortal Kombat As NetherRealm's Next Move
Image
For years, NetherRealm Studios operated like clockwork, reliably alternating between their brutal Mortal Kombat tournaments and the super-powered clashes of Injustice.

However, they broke that trend with Mortal Kombat 1 immediately following Mortal Kombat 11, breaking the expected Mk/Injustice cycle.

Now, it seems the winds are shifting once more. Support for Mortal Kombat 1 appears to be slowing, with the recent launch of a "Definitive Edition" often signaling the winding down of active development before a studio pivots to its next major endeavor. NetherRealm themselves have hinted as much on social media.

We are hearing players’ requests for continued game support of Mortal Kombat 1, and, while we will continue to support Mortal Kombat 1 through balance adjustments and fixes, there will not be additional Dlc characters or story chapters released from this point on.

— Mortal Kombat 1 (@MortalKombat) May 23, 2025

DC Wins Again as Marvel Rivals Player Count Crashes to Record Low Numbers
Image
It’s starting to look like Marvel’s content overload problem isn’t just limited to the big screen. Much like the oversaturation that’s left the MCU feeling more bloated than epic, Marvel Rivals is suffering from the same self-inflicted wound: churning out content without fixing what’s broken.

The live-service hero shooter has seen its player count tumble to record lows, and fans aren’t leaving because they want fewer heroes; they’re leaving because the game’s falling apart. Meanwhile, DC, despite all its cinematic stumbles, continues to take a smarter, steadier approach in gaming.

Marvel Rivals is falling apart, but hey, here’s another new hero

Let’s get one thing straight: Marvel Rivals is in rough shape. According to the latest stats (via SteamDB), the player count has plummeted to record lows, currently with a 24-hour peak of only 139K, and it’s not hard to see why.

Mortal Kombat Studio's Next Game May Have Been Leaked
Image
Netherrealm Studios' next game may have just been leaked by a pretty reliable dataminer, and it's not Mortal Kombat. After these recent leaks, it's looking like another installment in the DC Comics fighting game series, Injustice, may not be far away. Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition was released last week, and it is presumably the end of content updates for MK1, featuring all the currently available Dlc characters, Kameos, the Khaos Reigns story mode expansion, and more. It seems like Nrs has moved on to its next project and is taking a break from Mk.

According to MultiVersus dataminer MultiverSusie on X, Injustice 3 is allegedly in development and is Nrs's next title after Mortal Kombat 1 (via Vgc). The post made to X uses the word "injustice" three times when describing the shutdown of the platform DC Comics fighting game, MultiVersus. MultiverSusie replied to their own post with another message that...

'Elsbeth' and 'The Good Wife' Creators Are Already Working on Their Next Drama Series
Image
Robert and Michelle King have been great partners with CBS and CBS Studios for years. The couple has worked together on numerous projects throughout the years, with Elsbeth being their latest one airing on the network. CBS is looking to extend this relationship for the foreseeable future. The network has opened up a writers' room for The Kings' new drama series, Cupertino. The network has ordered scripts for twelve episodes, and if everything works out well, Cupertino will be on the network's schedule in the 2026-2027 TV season. Much about the show is unknown, but it is described as "a David vs. Goliath legal show set in Silicon Valley." The Kings will executive produce alongside Liz Glotzer.

The Kings' relationship with CBS started with the drama series The Good Wife, which aired from 2009 to 2016. The legal drama starred Juliana Margulies, Matt Czury, and Josh Charles, among others. The couple returned...

Tulsa King Season 3 Casts Beloved Actor and Comedian (Who Once Played the Joker) for Major Role
Image
Tulsa King has cast famed comedian Kevin Pollak for a major role in Season 3. The Sylvester Stallone-starring crime drama was renewed for a third season in March.

Pollak will be joining the Paramount+ series as FBI Special Agent Musso, who enters the story "with an axe to grind." Agent Musso is certain to cause problems for Dwight "The General" Manfred (Stallone) as he establishes a mafia foothold in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role will be as a series regular, making Pollak's part much more than a guest appearance.

"I’ve been an admirer of Sly’s throughout his entire career and could not be more excited to be a part of this stellar cast and extraordinary production," Pollak said in a statement.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League's Best Characters, Ranked
Image
The following contains spoilers for Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, now streaming on Prime Video.

A major positive of the original Batman Ninja film is its unique cast. Warner Bros. Japan infuses Batman's rogues with a feudal style in a twisted alternate reality. Thankfully, Batman and his clan successfully break the Quake Engine and restore that version of Japan to the real world to end the story on a satisfying note.

Or so fans thought. Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League picks up with the heroes returning to reality and realizing all isn't well. They have to head back to a new version of Japan, (i.e. Hinomoto), to fight a sinister Injustice League. In the process, this sequel charts out an action-packed sequence that subverts DC Comic characters, both visually and in terms of their personality.

Savannah Chrisley Shouts Out ‘Blue Lives Matter’ & Injustice

Savannah Chrisley visited the White House in February, and told her social media followers that she was there at the Cpac as “a Senior Fellow for the Nolan Center for Criminal Justice.” This week, the Chrisley Knows Best alum took to social media again and gave a shout-out to “Blue Lives Matter,” and related a story that she felt was an injustice.

What Was The Injustice?

The photo that Savannah shared on Instagram on March 20, showed her speaking on a phone. According to her caption, she’d been chatting with the family of a police officer. Well, to correct that, he’s now a “former” officer as he was sent to prison. As far as the USA Network alum is concerned, his sentence was an injustice.

“DC has nothing”: Warner Bros Will Need a Miracle to Turn the Tables After Marvel Clearly Outshined DC in Video Games

DC’s stronghold in video games has diminished in recent years, and a large part of its game’s failure goes to the studios behind it not being able to deliver good games at large scales.

Marvel has surpassed DC in the gaming race. Image Credit: Marvel

Similarly, DC’s rival Marvel now has a lot of games that seem to be doing well in the market. Marvel has gone way ahead in this race than DC, and there is nothing much the latter can do about it now.

James Gunn Actively Involved In Development Of DC Universe Video Games
Image
The first video games based on James Gunn's and Peter Safran's DC Universe are still years away from being revealed, but the co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios have revealed they are actively working with the various WB Games teams.

Speaking at a DC Studios presentation, the duo explained that they are working closely with the WB Games division, assisting studios like Mortal Kombat creator NetherRealm and Batman: Arkham developer Rocksteady on character design and story.

“We work incredibly closely with Jb Perrette [CEO and President, Global Streaming and Games], who runs that division, and it's really the first time it's ever been this way at Warner Brothers,” Safran explained. “James and I sit with literally the guys that run the studios underneath Jb, whether it's NetherRealm or whether it's Rocksteady, sit with them and talk about characters and stories that we're interested in and that they're interested in.”

DC Announces New 'Green Lantern' Animated Series
Image
DC appears to be going all in on Green Lanternas a new animated series, My Adventures with Green Lantern, was recently announced. After 2011's box office disaster Green Lantern, it seemed like Warner Bros. and DC Comics tried to downplay the various characters' importance, including omitting them from the Justice League roster in the Dceu. The 2020s look very Green Lantern-centric as Nathan Fillion will play Guy Gardner in Superman, with Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler set to play John Stewart and Hal Jordan incarnations of the Green Lantern in the Max series Lanterns. Now an animated version of the Green Lantern Jessica Cruz is on the way, but it will be connected to another popular Superman project outside of the Dcu.

“They better hire this same team”: Marvel Rivals Firing Its Entire Team Maybe James Gunn’s Chance at His DC Equivalent of ‘Rivals’
Image
Marvel Rivals has proven that hero shooters aren’t quite dead yet. But the biggest reason for its success isn’t its gameplay but rather the excellent execution of the Marvel IP. So is DC going to compete with this? DC Studios’ CEO James Gunn is certainly considering the possibility of a similar project from DC.

It might also be the perfect time for DC to start cooking something up because NetEase recently laid off a portion of its Seattle-based team and it’d be pretty cool if DC picked them up. Fans are wary after what happened with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and with NetEase’s success, the ball is firmly in DC’s court.

10 strongest Black superheroes in the DC Universe
Image
One of the interesting and relatively unknown characters set to make his big screen debut in James Gunn's Superman is "Mister Terrific." He first graced DC's pages in 1997's Spectre #54 (written by John Ostrander and illustrated by Tom Mandrake). On-screen, he will be played by Edi Gathegi and is supposed to be "the main character of those [other] characters [in the movie]."

Previously, he appeared live on the CW's Arrow (Echo Kellum) and had a few stints in animated projects, one was voiced by the Cosby-outing comedian Hannibal Burress.

For Black History Month, it's important to celebrate Bipoc heroes and villains because the writers and artists didn't hold back when it came to creating diversity among the legion of characters. They have been given amazing powers--some cosmic, others mutant, and a few elite humans. Mister Terrific is the third smartest character in all DC lore, next to Lex Luthor and the Atom, Ray Palmer.

“If I can handle it, Superman can”: Injustice Superman Becoming a Tyrant After Lois Lane’s Death Was Awful Writing of the Man of Steel
Image
All-Star Superman writer Grant Morrison couldn’t understand Superman’s evil turn after Lois Lane’s death in Injustice. The comic storyline that ran from 2013 to 2016 saw Superman and Batman at odds after the former descended into complete villainy. After Joker’s evil plot ends in the death of a pregnant Lois Lane, the Man of Steel forms the totalitarian One Earth Regime to end all violence.

Batman doesn’t believe in Superman’s new League and builds an insurgency to fight back against the Regime. What follows is a violent conflict within the Justice League that has some costly outcomes, including the death of Green Arrow. DC, I Beg You - Stop Repeating the Batman & Robin Mistake We've Seen for Years Now
Image
Warning: Spoilers for Batman and Robin #17Dc is dangerously close to repeating the same mistake it has made dozens of times before with Batman and Robin, and I am begging for it to stop. The dynamic duo are one of the most iconic elements of the DC Universe, but as of late, it feels like the characters are falling into old habits. I’m worried that the company will rehash an old storyline after the characters have just moved past it without making the choice feel justified.

Batman and Robin #17 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Javier Fernández, and Carmine Di Giandomenico features a moment where Bruce and Damian have an argument over the idea of Batman, with Damian even questioning if the vigilante life is worth it.

This moment, I fear, is emblematic of DC repeating the same, tired storyline of Bruce and Damian being at odds with one another that...

Every R-Rated DC Animated Movie, Ranked
Image
DC animated movies are not afraid to go dark. R-rated movies have been performing well and are appreciated by mature audiences around the world. Joker and Deadpool are perfect examples that set the precedent for more superhero-related projects to follow. It's always interesting to see fan-favorite characters going a step further than fans are used to seeing.

DC hasn't shied away from being gory and brutal in the animated universe. They never hold back with their R-rated movies, which care very little about being family-friendly, showing endless brutal kills from DC's heroes and villains alike. Superman goes on a brutal killing rampage in Injustice, while Batman faces the knife-wielding Jack the Ripper in Batman: Gotham by Gaslight.

Updated by Jordan Iacobucci on January 13, 2025: Unlike its brighter counterpart Marvel, DC isn't afraid to get into the nitty gritty with R-rated adaptations of some of the company's most popular comic book storylines.

James Gunn's Superman Imagined In Classic 1940s Animated Cartoon Style Video Looks Stunning And Is Making Me Nostalgic
Image
David Corenswet's Dcu Superman stars in a sweet homage to the Man of Steel's earliest cartoons and James Gunn's upcoming Superman movie. Gunn's Superman takes inspiration from storylines such as Kingdom Come and All-Star Superman, as well as the Man of Steel's earliest comic book appearances. The Dcu's version of Superman seems to be aiming for a timeless portrayal of the character, with a somewhat retrofuturistic Metropolis informing his superhero career.

Illustrator and DC fan Dylan Odom shares a fan-made Superman animation on Instagram, starring David Corenswet's Superman as a 1940s cartoon version of the DC hero inspired by the famous 1940s Fleischer Superman animated shorts. The video shows Corenswet's Superman saving the little girl from the trailer, fighting the movie's mystery masked villain, and jumping from the Daily Planet's decorative globe. Anson Mount, Justin Hartley, and Janet Varney in Injustice (2021)
Injustice 3 needs to feature these iconic character as its main villains
Anson Mount, Justin Hartley, and Janet Varney in Injustice (2021)
Welcome one and all to the third, and possibly final, part of my theories regarding the potential for an Injustice 3 game!

For those who missed the previous two, I'll briefly explain what each one was about. The first part dealt with what the story of Injustice 3 could be about based on the good ending from Injustice 2, while the second part was my theories as to which group of heroes would make the best playable characters for an Injustice 3. Now, onto the part that excites me the most; who should be the main villain(s) of Injustice 3? In no particular order, read on to find out!

1. Darkseid

Darkseid is a name that has graced my articles in the recent past, and for good reason! The threat of Darkseid is so massive that it can spread throughout the DC Universe, and almost every character within DC has fought the ruler of Apokolips,...

DC characters we want to see in a potential Injustice 3
Image
There are many things that DC Comics fans are longing for, but a third Injustice video game is definitely on that list. It's something we've been discussing since completing Injustice 2 and, with that having come out in 2017, it's been some time indeed.

With that in mind, let's do some more theorizing, this time about which characters could appear in Injustice 3 if it happens. To be honest, there are so many DC characters that haven't been used in the Injustice games that it would be impossible to list them all, so let's look at some of the ones that I want to see the most and the ones that fans have been clamoring over for years.

Magical characters

Let's begin by talking about the magical characters of the DC Universe, because most of them haven't received much attention in these games. While characters like Swamp Thing and Shazam were playable characters in the previous games,...

The story that a potential Injustice 3 needs to tell
Anson Mount, Justin Hartley, and Janet Varney in Injustice (2021)
The Injustice franchise of video games and tie-in comics have received mixed reviews from fans and critics, specifically when it comes to the brutality of that version of Superman and his fall from grace as he evolved from hero to an evil tyrant. Despite many of these views, the Injustice universe has intrigued fans for over a decade at this point, and the last game, Injustice 2, came out all the way back in 2017, with no concrete news as to the fate of a Injustice 3 down the line.

However, it's always fun to just let the imagination run wild and theorize what a potential Injustice 3 storyline could look like. So, come with me through a world where some of our greatest heroes have become mankind's greatest enemies.

Injustice 2's two endings explained

Injustice 2 had two possible endings to the game's story campaign. After the defeat of Brainiac, the remaining heroes decide...

The animated movie is based on the prequel comic series of the NetherRealm Studios video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and is set in an alternate timeline from the main DC Universe. In the Injustice continuity, Superman descends into madness after The Joker tricks him into killing a pregnant Lois Lane and detonating a nuclear bomb that destroys all of Metropolis. Superman goes on to turn Earth into a police force, bent on enforcing "global peace", prompting Batman and other DC heroes to form an underground resistance.

It's been almost three years since the Wonder Woman game was announced - where is it?
Image
Wonder Woman is perhaps the DC character most deserving of her own game. Batman and Superman have had their own games in the past, as well as Justice League and Injustice games, which feature a wider variety of heroes to play as.

There is a ton of potential for the Wonder Woman game. Swordplay, the in-depth world of DC, and the potential for the Lasso of Truths or Wonder Woman's bracelets make her a perfect candidate for a game. There are any number of genres the game could explore, most notably perhaps a fantasy RPG, or an action-adventure affair.

The world of DC, more specifically the world of Wonder Woman, is the perfect setting for an RPG or adventure game. Even just Themyscira is the perfect place to play host to a swordplay-based adventure.

Another big question surrounding the game is the when. Wonder Woman can take place anywhere from...

“Isn’t that Ed Boon’s face?”: Mortal Kombat’s Ed Boon May Have Included Himself in the Game After All
Image
Without a doubt, Mortal Kombat has become one of the most disruptive and controversial franchises in the history of video games. It was first launched in the early 1990s, and its extreme violence and explicit visual content sparked backlash from the more conservative communities in the United States.

Years later, it has established itself as one of the most successful franchises in the industry and continues to produce new games regularly.

One of the masterminds behind this success is Ed Boon, who remains at the helm and whose cameos have appeared in various games in the series. Some players had only recently discovered these references and were surprised to find them.

Players Are Surprised to See Ed Boon Appear in Different Mortal Kombat Games

Despite the passage of over 30 years since the release of the first Mortal Kombat game, every new generation continues to explore the history of the saga.

One Gotham hero has just received the ultimate power upgrade by becoming DCs next Green Lantern in the sequel to the best-selling Elseworlds series, DC vs. Vampires. How To Watch Justice League Animated Movies In Order
Image
DC's animated Justice League films follow various continuities, complicating viewing patterns beyond chronological order. Standalone films offer unique, non-shared universe stories featuring the Justice League with varied art styles and themes. The Tomorrowverse continuity ties into the Dcamu, making viewing all animated Justice League movies a more cohesive experience.

The DC Animated Universe has a rich filmography when it comes to the Justice League, necessitating a solid watch order to make sense of it all. DC's animated films are a consistent content output, and standing among them are some of DC's most faithful media. With a new animated Justice League film from DC having been put out at least once almost every year since 2010, it's easy to get lost in putting together the chronological order in which the films were released.

Warner Brother's live-action Dceu may be on the brink of a reboot, yet the universe's animated films have always had a strong identity.

Suicide Squad Isekais Harley Quinn is Best Girl
Image
Harley Quinn is a character that has garnered a lot of popularity and attention ever since her debut in Batman: The Animated Series, where she was introduced as the former "Harleen Quinzel" before she eventually abandoned that identity and became the Jokers sidekick (as well as his woefully unappreciated love interest). Harley has been featured in many DC Comics since then, such as the Injustice series and, most notably, the Suicide Squad franchise.

Suicide Squad Isekai, a Warner Bros. production based on the franchise, reimagines Harley Quinn into an anime character who travels into a fantasy world where she is no less crazy, combative, or clever than her previous counterparts. The already hit series does a wonderful job at bringing the beloved DC villain into the anime genre, making her into one of the best anime characters seen in 2024 thus far.

The Correct Order To Watch Every Superman Movie
Image
We all know who Superman is.

Superman, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster in 1938, wasn't the first superhero character in modern media, but he tends to be held up as one of the genre's central archetypes. His red wrestler's cape and red strong man's trunks, paired with his super strength and ability to defy gravity, have all become central symbols of what a superhero is, how a superhero should behave, and what a superhero looks like. Hundreds of thousands of superheroes have been invented since 1938, but many of those produced by mainstream comics outlets like Marvel or DC owe Superman a direct debt. In the same way that every on-screen Dracula is a riff on Bela Lugosi's performance in Tod Browning's 1931 movie, Superman is either being enhanced or subverted by every comic book superhero character. But he is the mainstay.

Superman first made his way to the...
