When I first saw the first season, I thought it was adorable. I liked Shimmer and Shine's personality and the songs were very catchy. After the second season, it was like the show lost its magic. When they switched to CGI from Flash Animation, I wanted to like it but it felt so empty. The new seasons lacked heart, the episodes put me to sleep even though they're written by amazing writers like Rich Fogel (Superman, Justice League), Greg Weisman and Kevin Hopps (Young Justice, The Spectacular Spider-Man) and Zeta was a forgettable villain even though she was voiced by one of my favorite voice actresses, Lacey Chabert.(Eliza Thornberry) but she sounded tired. What would have made the next seasons perfect is to keep the same animation and premise. Shimmer and Shine are genies in training, learning from their mistakes to become better. The next seasons could have taught kids that we all make mistakes and we learn from them to do better. But they dropped the ball hard. I would just the first season since that's where the show was perfect. I hope one day I will meet the creator and say "What happened?" I have no problem against CGI. It's a great tool for movies and TV. But when your show has established animation and you change the format in the next season, you're not going to get the same results. It will decline faster like a heartbeat flatline. The first season gets an A, 5 stars. Its other seasons gets 0 stars. Overall, the show gets 4 stars because I still respect the first season. Just watch that on repeat and pretend the other seasons don't exist.

Their heads are so scary it gives me nightmares in the middle of the night when I try to sleep I look at the wall and I see an abomination of a head staring at me and it I keep hearing the scary singing "shimmer and shine" ringing in my head it is too scary for kids I do not recommend for kids it should probably be horror and their heads are also too big and and and their eyes are too shiny so it makes it really scary when you stare at them and their body's are too small to support the weight of their heads so they are encouraging kids to have diseases and it encouraged kids to fly on carpet and it is not good for kids.

The characters and plots are pointless. There is nothing good about this program... it's like taking your child to a casino.

Looks like a dumb midget stripper show.

I've notice with these new children 3d shows they at lest have 1 dumb character.

I wish characters in show would just call it out so children watching know specifically what dumb is.

And another generic bland 3d show. Sheeeesh. It's awful.

This is such a genie-rific show and whoever hates it is crazy. The plots are amazing and cute characters, especially the little dragon too. Highly recommended to anyone that has daughters since I believe it is more girly. Awesome show.

The plots are interesting and the characters are cute. I would highly recommend this show to any parent who has daughters.

It is great when you are young because you want to be just like them it was one of my favourite shows when I was 7 it shows how when you make a mistake you can fix it and that is great my sister is now 4 and she is watching and loving.

When i was little, i watched this tv show, because i love Genies!

Shimmer and Shine are my favorite cuz they grand Leah's 3 wishes, Boom Zahramay!

This is very genie divine, even my mum showed me on phone causing to get my attetion, even i watched it when i eardrum hurt, i really really remember this thank you so much Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz!

For adding it to my childhood colletion, i never forget ever again Your Genie Divine it's Shimmer and Shine!

From the genie palace sadly, the show got cancelled in 2020, i hope this show returns!!

This show is amazing! I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great shows that is related to genies and more importantly, Leah! 😊💖🌈

I like this show so much i despise the hatebase is so horrible and they need to die for good because they claim it's a rip-off to Aladdin and the fairly oddparents when they have nothing in common. Plus Shimmer and Shine and the fairly oddparents are both from Nickelodeon. Plus i still hate Zeta (Shimmer and Shine)
